Please can I ask that you respect the feelings and beliefs of others, there is no need for arguements here, I just want you to enjoy the music, if you cannot do that, then there is not much point in me putting the videos up.
How can I be ignorant of what the church is when I used to have to go as a kid? And it was taught in RE classes at school. You keep on calling me ignorant (don't worry, it takes a lot more to make me cry), but you fail to give me any reasoned retort to my points. Why don't you believe in the Greek & Roman gods who were around "centuries" before the new testament events? Why don't you believe in other monotheistic religions' gods? They all claim to know the truth. You can't all be right.
Ignorance is a very good word to use....for example you are not only ignorant of what this church teaches, but you are ignorant of what I believe - and yet you still manage to pontificate about it. No Christian relies on blind faith - we rely on Jesus Christ.. Comparing the Gospel with cavemen is a supreme example of the kind of ignorance I am talking about.
cambola - your interest in this seems a little obsessive. A word of advice - don;t allow ignorance or Wiki to determine what you believe. If you did your research you would find that evangelism (proclamation of the Christian Gospel) has been in the Uk for centuries - Knox, Wesley, Shaftsbury, Wilberforce, Mueller, etc Britain was built upon the proclamation on the Christian Gospel. And we don;t want to be selfish and enjoy money just for ourselves - Christians believe in sharing!
@dardun As is your interest in my posts. Your usage of the word "ignorance" is exquisitely ironic, as I, unlike you, don't need to rely on blind faith to understand the world. I prefer proof and am happy to admit that there is still a lot we do not know. So, yes, there are many things of which we humans are ignorant. But you religious people, of course, know the "truth" (to quote you). As for the gospel and Britain - the caveman in the UK lived in caves for centuries but we've moved on from that
PLEASE DO NOT LET ENVANGELISM ENTER THE UK. (Though, I fear it may be too late). For all you christians being brainwashed by this stuff, just look at the examples in the US of Jimmy Swaggart, Ted Haggard, Jerry Falwell etc. Do your research (i.e. just Wiki the names) into the evangelists in the US, and just see how many frauds and nasty people there are in this group, preying on the vulnerable. It's disgusting. Don't give money to them, please. Enjoy your money for yourselves and enjoy life.
