do you guys happen to make a 3 position solenoid kit to shift a motor cycle engine?
Im looking for a pneumatic or hydraulic kit for a dune buggy powered by a gsxr engine.. i might set it up where in the middle of the cabin.. with a front to back shifter. Thats pushed or pulled by the 3 way solenoid, when i hit the shifting paddles on the steering. its a basic system, that you can wire up with a 50ms shifting time based on rpms like the monsterkart
@240SSONLY This paddle system can be used universally. What type of gearbox does the dune buggy have? It must be sequential. Does it have an internal shift piston or hydraulic pump?
@kapstransmissions think, motor cycle chain driven buggy with straight bar or jerico or quaife differentail... i was thinin airshifter like on the drag hayabusas but may be thats too quick... lol
i want a center console shifting bar or gear knob that pushed by the solenoid forward or backwards based on the shifting paddle input from the steering wheel... and that bar it self shift the bear on the motorcycle engine (so i can shift both)... sorry if this visualization is difficult to explain
The system is completely clutchless on the up and downshifts. The paddle system is installed to the KAPS Transmissions full sequential gearbox and you can engage gears as low as 50milliseconds.
