When i was a kid my Grandma was tired of me wanting to make chocolate chip cookies every time we made cookies. So she made potato cookies with me instead. I remember them tasting like very sweet mash potatoes lol. Not bad though. Also we made jelly bean cookies.

There is a recipe for fudge that calls for ...are you ready?.....Velveeta cheese....yep, you read that right! Velveeta cheese! I can't find it anywhere. I have had it, makes the fudge nice and creamy and does not taste like it has the cheese in it. Would love to see if you can find it and show how it is done. :)

@ourrepurposedlives I have a recipe for the Velveeta Fudge. I never tried it. It is in the Paula Deen Cookbook, a Christmas cookbook I think. I can get it to you at some point once the hectic Holidays are over. Paula says the fudge is REALLY good!
