  • Pretty much what I'm saying is that if we were a republic like you say we were, then we wouldn't have the freedoms that we do. Being liberal means being tolerant of other perspectives. The fact is that you conservatives can't handle the truth even if it comes from your own side like Sarah Palin's Africa is a country comment. That shows how blinded you guys are.

  • I am now scarred of republicans and what they would do if Obama gets a second term. I am scared of me and my family. I think that the republican party would start massacring non-republicans.

  • @syzygy502 The United States is a Republic not a Democracy.

  • @warfossil Are you kidding me?? OMG. So you think Revere warned the British as well. America is a democracy, not a republic. A republic is like a dictatorship. Remember the Soviet Union on the United Soviet Socialist Republic or something like that. America is a democracy and not a republic.

  • @syzygy502 I don't blame you but I blame your parents and teachers for indoctrinating you into hating your country and your skin color.

The Pledge of Allegiance of the United States is an oath of loyalty to the federal flag and the Republic of the United States of America. From wikipedia.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the "REPUBLIC" for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all. You're very dumb.

  • @warfossil LOL. It also says under God which shows that the buffoons who made it were not with the majority of the Americans. I have done research and we are a democratic republic. That would be my bad for calling it a pure democracy. It is a combination of both. The reason why we are having problems is because the republicans want to get rid of the democracy and turn it into a dictatorship.

  • Watch the immature turkeys just too see who not to buy from.

  • So this is the origin to "why you grabbin' me" that Cenk has been using so much. Love it.

  • hahaha why u grabbin me.. i love it

  • Rofl, tards arguing on youtube comments.

  • Blow and go... rofl

  • Coleman is all bent out of shape again. There is a lawsuit with this Blo and Go. A republican in Texas is suing a republican in Minnesota and somehow he says Al Franken is behind it. And though this was filed in a federal court and anyone may view this on PACER and it will get out to the press this bastard says it was leaked anonymously and must be linked to Franken's campaign. Looks like the guy in Texas wants his company's money back to me. This Coleman is so corrupt it makes me sick.

  • lawl

  • Al Franken for Minnesota Senate 08!

  • Australia and England have only gotten tighter and tighter. "Get a life, bin that knife" sound familiar? Canada has strict gun licensing, but hasn't had a ban. They're not loosening up at all, though.

Germany would be the only one. But that really can't be counted, since it was before Nazi rule that gun licensing was enacted, which enabled the Nazis to take guns when they did. Then, of course, we know what happened next to those that followed that law.

But there's no Nazi gun laws, Nazis.

  • rofl. I've never owned a gun and I'm fine. You know your more likely to hurt your family if you have a gun than if you don't.

  • The lower your inetelligence and sense of self, the more guns you own

  • So, you're saying that because someone has a hobby, that they've found something that they like, they're stupid and self-loathing because of it?

Does that apply to all hobbies, or just the one?

And aren't you a bit old to be making ad hominem attacks by now?

  • I just stated a fact. No need to get all emotional.

  • No, you're making stuff up. That's not a fact any more than all stamp collectors are old guys with sweater-vests.

  • lol shoot 'em in the head and let God sort 'em out! Yeee Haaaw!

  • It would seem that you may have already take a head shot

  • Dammit, my post looks out of context now! It was surposed to be next to an earlier comment.

  • England is a grey area. We can still own guns but there's a lot of red tape, licences and stuff. I don't think we ever had open gun ownership - but maybe the laws against guns were nerver enforced.

  • Coleman is corrupt.

  • awe I hit a nerve with my gun comment how sweet. Its true people who own guns are not stable emotionally take a look at the us troops in Iraq too much friendly fire. You answered me so I guess that makes you stupid you just contradicted yourself. Did you even realize what you just said you shouldn't answer me cause my commented is fucking stupid. First fix your damn grammar its because your comment not because you comment. Your a good reason why people have abortions and gun control

  • Ha, you're complaining about someone's grammar when your own is far worse?

So if people who own guns are not stable, where does that leave police, military, and security guards?

And how is it that someone who lived in a neighborhood with gang violence, and has seen one of their neighbors die when he was clubbed to death with baseball bats insecure with themselves by keeping a shotgun behind the bed?

When someone breaks into your home, and seconds count, the police will only be minutes away.

  • Surely you are not basing your argument on the mental and psychological stability of the Police? Of security guards?

  • I'm basing it more on the fact that many of them are getting more and more firepower, and people who say I have no reason to own any firearms think that that's perfectly legitimate.

  • It was a rhetorical question. You did base your argument on the alleged emotional stability of the police. Which is a loser

  • So you're saying that police don't have the right to carry firearms for work?

I mean, it's already illegal for criminals and mentally adjunct from owning firearms, but that's not stopping them. If all firearms are illegal, then they'll still have them, but honest citizens will not. Wouldn't that be a much worse fate?

  • what society that previusly had open gun ownership has had that taken away.

  • Anybody who owns guns are insecure with themselves cause they cant kill a man with their bare hands. Our countries fatality rates are high in this country compared to our neighbor Canada

  • Let's talk turkish soap operas. You look like you came from one.

    Ludwig

  • Oh trust me, I know his history, I was born and raised in Chicago

The only thing he has voted for in the past that relates to gun control was to ban only handguns, and only in the inner city, which makes perfect sense. Maybe not to those who have never been to Chicago.

  • "hughster41" I agree with you

but said by "Snicko66" "Free health care isn't that great, it cuts down on competition"

Nobody ever said health care should be FREE, We are saying that it should be affordable to everyone.

    but back to "Hughster41"

The 2nd amendment is very important, and it's a good that Obama is not trying to take away our guns like some are falsely saying.

Even if he wanted to, he would NEVER EVER be able to do it.

  • I don't live in Engalnd.I live in the U.S. and i Don't have any..gun ownership does not depict freedom. If thats your line of thought..Maybe you should read up on homicide and suicide rates with guns Vs Engalnd..and ownership laws. You're not very free when your dead. That being said..My point is that our freedoms are being taken away and no one says or does anything. Free health care isn't that great, it cuts down on competition, thus resulting in lower standards, and minimum care.

  • well i am a former ex tankie(memeber of the british army's Royal Tank Regimant s/sgt and ex S.A.S trooper so i out rank you on all fronts mate lol ;-)

there is no such thing as free helth care but in the uk we pay for it right from our taxes!comes under scocil scurity payments!and you may very well have not wanted to get the sunni's out of power BUT your commander in chife did!

  • narrr we would all be speaking russian! any way YOU where not in ww2! i happen to have a great deal of respect for the brave men of BOTH our countriers armed forces!

I just feel that this war in iraq was a unesserecy war! unlike the first gulf war..(in which i DID serve!)

  • no hughster mate the british pulled out of iraq quite a few months ago, there now in afganistan! but yes the british tax payers are funding a war!

  • its not free...it comes with higher taxes

your taxes are gonna be raised, but the extra money is going to fund the war in iraq/line some contractor's pockets. at least my money is going somewhere!

  • Al Franken is kicking ass?! Now that's awesome news.

  • Go Al!

  • i find it strange that in the uk members of the House of Commons(the lower House) HAVE to declair there assets and income(earned and unearned) in the "members register" if they fail to do so,they get hammered hard! if a country like the uk can do this (and remember the uk is notorious for not telling you anything)why dont the us do so with there "openess policy"?

  • because the UK is run by evil socialists! I mean, healthcare is free for all (for the most part), how DARE they oppress their people so???

  • You moron..They're not oppressed..Maybe you should spend some time their and the rest of Europe and you'll see..You're probably more oppressed..I'm British..and live in the U.S. Yes,I am an American Citizen and have spent most of my life here. However,Europe is probably by far more free than th U.S.Look at the media and how the government influences it.Hhmm. heres another..Now the government can listen into private phone conversations. Unjustified war. There is more government censorship here.

  • ghbaby is being sarcastic.

  • thanks Robot

  • sarcasm anyone? jeez!

  • one word...SARCASM!

  • no it's not "free" as you seem to think mate,

it is PAID for out of the taxes we pay to the british goverment,BUT it's a lot cheaper then what you lot pay in the states and it's open to ALL(yes even americans if they fall ill in the uk get treated!) i will take that oppression any day over the us system where people are left to DIE in E.R waiting rooms!

  • Coleman has been attacking Frankens career as a comedian & when he was on Saturday Night Live. Frankens adds are about Colemans poor job performance & how he shares the failed George Bush philosophy that has driven our economy into the ground. Franken is a Harvard graduate & graduated with honors at the top of his class. Cum Lauden or however you spell it.

  • Coleman is a snake. He is stopping his personal attack adds as political strategy, not because he cares about the issues. His attack adds are hurting him in the poles. Colemans negative adds are personal attacks that have nothing to do with political issues. Frankens negative adds are just pointing out Colemans negative political record. If you have been doing a bad job Coleman, adds against your job performance will have a negative tone.

  • Has the senator ever received suits as gifts?

"the senator has reported every gift he has ever received"

The senator is always going on and on about transparency why can't he answer yes or no if he has ever received suits as gifts?

"the senator has reported every gift he has ever received"

  • I sent $250 to Al Franken and $250 to Mark Begich. You should do the same.

    alfranken(dot)com

    begich(dot)com

  • BLOW AND GO! LOL! That Doesnt Sound Right. What Kind Of Business Is It? LOL!

  • C'mon Cenk, man, I know you're better than jumping on the free suits band wagon. You've read the Harpers article right? Ken Silverstein himself said the sources weren't credible. I'm not defending Coleman, but this is the same type of mudslinging McCain does. He says he won't respond to illegitimate allegations, which is understandable, and then reporters ask questions about it knowing that he'll look like he's hiding something by not responding. Slimy tactics man.

  • yes mikebee02 we're all convinced. Why do you stooges think we are going to fall for this bs?

  • I'll move to Minnesota if Franken is elected.

  • Yeah, you and me both, cstrand. Incidentally, is that an allusion to Sarah Silverman? (Douche-nozzle)

  • SENATOR AL FRANKEN

  • Oops, it's "The Senator has reported every gift he has ever received."

  • Mr. Coleman has reported every gift he has ever received.

  • why you grabbin me? why you grabbin me?! ROFL!

  • Republicans can dish it out but cant take it. Liberals tend to not be as vicious and maybe thats why they are how they are. Im from Minnesota, Fuck Coleman. Im no Franken fan either but still.

  • norm coleman is a carpetbagger from new jersey

  • actually the douche-nozzle he's talking about is from my state, Minnesota.

  • does anyone want to touch it?

  • political hindsight is great when it kicks politicians in the balls.

  • LOL @ the headlock analogy.

  • lol

  • 4th

  • "4th"

    your parents must be proud.

  • haha I'll +1 you

  • your sense of humor is pretty good for a '4th' guy ;) lol

    cheers

  • Typical Republican format, act tough, live weak. This is why we are laughed at around the world, they see through the facade that Bush fronts off and they have no other response left to them other than scorn

  • second, woot!

  • If I respond to you will that make me first?

  • WOW! I get to be the first commenter on a TYT vid? How wrong is that?

    Great job!
