Uprocking is more about the uprock jerking, cuts and burns. Rubberband and Apache are the guys associated with its beginnings and in its early days was a gang battle thing.

Toprocking is what you see most bboys doing upright dancing, but some bboys use brooklyn jerks (uprock moves).
