  • Thanks.Ray who designed the Genesis presets also made all the Genesis demos and played it all.He is a hell of a keyboard player. He played keyboards for a Genesis tribute band called Face Value and used to own a Quadra. He bought my Quadra software and liked it so much he designed all the presets for me and taught me a few things about my Quadra :)

    Cheers,

    Steve

  • cool enjoyed listering to this nice work :)

  • whats the song at 2:30?

  • @900GTi At 2.30 I think it's Deep in the Motherlode from the And Then There Were Three album. I'm not 100% sure but that's probably right (I haven't heard it for as loing time). Someone else mentioned Squonk - that's the first song we hear. Then there's Follow You Follow Me and one or two others.

  • @900GTi Hi,you have to own Kontakt sampler from Native instruments which will run in Pro-tools then you load the Quadra into Konatkt.

    Thanks.

  • These patches are veeeery close to the original ones. I'm impressed.

  • @sauermusicDE Thank you-Ray who made them is a master of the ARP Quadra,he taught me a few things about the original machine that I did not even know and I have owned one for years :)

  • Fantastic, what a great job and superb software emulation!

  • @drkam6 Thankyou-it was a complete labour of love making the Quadra software.

  • just perfect. Awesome!

  • @sibariba Thanks.

Yeah Ray who made the Genesis presets is a great synth programmer.

  • Pardon the stupid question, but what is the name of the first Genesis song on this video?

  • @eddievhfan1984 Hi,I think it is called 'SQUONK'.

Key in Genesis squonk into youtube.

    Cheers,

    Steve

  • @eddievhfan1984 It's Squonk, from the Trick Of The Tail album.

  • @drkam6 Thanks. Apologies for the ignorance.

  • Awesome!

Would the Sheet music be available too?

Learning the chords & parameters to play along is the golden key!

  • @adrianh63 HI,only the software is available-Ray Pitt is a Quadra Guru, and a brill keyboard player-He played it all by hand so he did not use sheet music.

Sure the sheet music must be available somewhere though.

    Thanks,

    Steve
