This makes your screaming sound like shit and it gets you out of breath quickly(which is apparent in your vid), and it also will kill your vocal chords. You should really learn to do exhales or stop screaming, unless you no longer wish to be able to talk, sing, or scream.

Trivium don't inhale, Matt exhales. How do I know ? I speak to him on a fairly regular basis and have asked about his vocal techniques before.

If you do not believe just listen to his screaming, he pronounces the P's and B's in the songs which cannot be done efficiently when inhaling, since to make them sounds you have to breath out.

actually inhaling doesnt bother your throat at all. it doesnt matter how its done as long as it sounds good. plus inhaling is mad easier then exaling and it can sounds better at times. inhaling is actually better to use then exhaling because if you dont exhale right you can fuck up your vocal chords. trust me on this one.

its outward. great job tho. to be the next heafy, pick up a guitar bro!;-D when im doing this song with my band i play bass and scream(and sing mostly) but yeah dude its fuckin hard to do, but u should definitly try it. oh plus. if u dont want ur vocal cords hurting then when u scream and then goin into singing, swallow alot in between words keeping ur cords wet. it helps alot... once again great job
