Since I skipped forward in this scene to see the staging of Goodbye Love, I can't be sure what parts you are referencing...but most likely Contact? She actually has been dying for a long time... That entire number is an on stage orgy, but Angel's part in that - to me (and I haven't studied it extensively) - seems more like a warning and a goodbye...Hence the macabre echo of "Today for me. Tomorrow for you."
