My mother was a champion Irish dancer and I so much love Riverdance. Also Michael Flately is not only a very nice person but the money and charity he has given back so generously to Ireland, the last being the Cork maternity hospital who needed new equipment. Irish dance always existed but he did bring it back to such a high level.

Every dancer in riverdance is an accomplished champion. They are all superb dancers - better than Flattley even. Notice this. Flattley is the only every topless dancer, and is the only one to wear a white shirt. He's always centre stage and even the drums and music for silent to him. The grapevine has it the he's extremely arrogant. Irish dancing existed well before Flatley came along and, in my opinion, exploited it.

I heard the track was enhanced sound because there would be no way the audience would be able to hear the steps so clearly. I thought that's why the whole Riverdance phenom dissolved. Michael Flatley is indeed Lord of the Dance even when its Riverdance - Riverdance wouldnt have been the same show without his formidable choreography and presence

michael is a great dancer but he is so darned full of himself. he has prduced, and choreagraphed 3 different shows each of which now has 3 touring comanies but all of which starred him and just him with everyone else acting as his backup. riverdance was about thebeauty of irish dance. lord of the dance, feet of flames, and celtic tiger are mostly about the glory of michael flatley. if he stepped back a bit those shows would be awsome.

yeah this is one of the first riverdance show, since michael flatley is still in it, that was before he left it to create the lord of the dance, but riverdance is ten times better, the music are better, they are real musicians on stage, it's more irish and less american than the lord of the dance
