@andromedarr 300 rounds in two seconds, that's 150 bb per second or just 9000 rounds per minute, which is twice the rate of fire of the GAU-8 Avenger intalled on the A-10 Thunderbolt.

Even if it was some ~1800 rpm gun, it would be around ~60-70 BBs which is a mid cap in my book. Full auto was just the way he was firing between the attemps, nobody ever stated he plays like that (or else he has to walk to his respawn every 8 seconds... I find your logic a bit flawed)

I just wanted to say that i dont like it how many players use guns like this, with an ridicoulus high ROF.

And i saw a lot of AMerican players, along with british, and i think about more than half of the guys in the scene use the same "style", using Auto all the time, with HiCaps and no Need for realism in the gameplay, but extreme realism of the gun..

@andromedarr since real combat loads are between 280-310 rounds (5.56mm NATO), his (estimated) 6x60=360 rounds are pretty much conservative compared to airsoft loadouts.

I have checked his videos and I saw his M249 - why would waste $300+ on a SAW gun if you will be using real-caps and single shot? Just because your country has stupid full auto restricting laws doesn't mean you should hate on everyone who plays by other rules.

@bf2lover42 Our German Airsoft MGs are Full-Auto but they are downgraded to 230 FPS.

I just hate how everyone wants a full Metal gun, that is just like the real one, or just close, and then the gameplay is everything but nearly realistic. If they would use Fantasy-Guns then i wont flame on them

@andromedarr metal is chosen for it's durability - I don't know many people who actually want the weight in the gun because they'll have to carry it around for a few hours.

The kind of player you mentioned will prefer high quality plastic because it's lighter and allows faster aiming - which is a contradiction to your logic.

THe kind of player i mention (players like tim from AirsoftGI) have full-metal guns with Full Metal Rail-Systems and heavy flashlights etc on the gun. And at least i did not feel any difference in aiming-speed or somethin, unless the gun was half as heavy as the first one...the thin Body wont male much difference.

plus they could be a sordin variant.... or with com-unit, wearing normal earprotection can be a little silly as the last thing you want is to reduce your hearing ability, but with com-unit and sometimes mid frequency amplifier... it can be an advantage. oh and getting shot in the ear really hurts....

@ssbmpalyer2010 Most of those types of ear pros actually have sound amplifiers in them so you have better hearing. Its ear protection because if a noise exceeds an amount of decibels it cuts off so the sound is not heard, therefore, leaving your ears unaffected and in tact.

Ah, It's diffrent when taking effective fire, and your not just standing there in the practiced postion. Shoot move and communicate and get below 2 second change. Id like to see how those mag pouches reatain a mag after an explosion, or during combat rolls.

The ear protection makes him feel cool. haha syke. I like the intensity trained in, also very good consistency. better than a lot of firearm trainers. However, you should be doing a chamber check and slapping the mock bolt catch (if you aren't slapping it). Anyhow, outstanding reloads.

I think it also helps to wear ear protection because ive heard that certain AEGs can shoot through your ear even at non point black distances. But yeah, he is probably going for realism with his training.
