@SpaceMan131326 While what you say may be true, you should also consider that just as we have central locations like London, NY, Washington, Ottawa, The Vatican, Jerusalem, Moscow, Hong Kong etc, the Atlantis empire/culture/society most likely had their central locations for trade, economy, Religion etc. It's those cities that hold the keys to a united empire. If Atlantis was a world wide society, those cites will hold the clearest evidence that it was, hence their importance.

A close examintaion of the Atlantis story quickly reveals that Atlantis was the Minoan city of Thira, destroyed by the eruption of the Santorini volcano. Plato was not the originator of the Atlantis story. Plato heard the story from his uncle, who heard the story in Egypt, where it was already an ancient tale. It is the tale of "the Sea Peoples", which is what the ancient Egyptians called the Minoans. Simple stuff here folks. What was found in Donana is clearly just an ancient temple sight.
