@mursare Hi, please can you tell me your experience of recovery period and describe the pain you experienced during the procedure and afterwards. I'm having this done in a couple of weeks. Thanks.
Well I had the Right Eye done first, as the was the one it had progressed in most. The pain was minimal if I am honest. It was more annoying that you wanted to rub your eyes, but were unable to do so! I found that I slept straight after the procedure and was a little sore for a few days, but then I was OK. I was extra careful to avoid getting water or anything else in my eyes. Mail me on paki_chan(at)yahoo(dot)com and I can give you better info.
@mursare hey , i got both eyes done a couple of days ago now. There was excruciating pain for me for about 3 hours a day after the op. But now all is good. Hey musare, how long after the op did u wear your first hard contact lense? And in an average day, how long can you wear the lense?
@ChequeWriter Well I have worn the hard lenses now on and off for an hour at a time building up tolerance, but since I accidentally rubbed my eyes forgetting I had them in my eyes, I have not worn them since. Prior to that, I was able to wear them almost all day, with a slight itch caused by them.
I have tried soft lenses, but they don't seem to provide the excellent vision hard lenses do.
I am in the process of getting a new type of lense fitted and will updated you with how that goes.
does cross linking improve vision? i might be having it done to me! and i really hate wearing glasses/contact lenses
