@fuygvfyuguihvuyguuyu I know but I'm just saying. It would've been odd to hear GLaDOS saying, "Hey! Where are you going? Testing needs to be done!" or something when you entered into the room. Almost as if she didn't want Chell to learn anything about what's been going on outside the tests.

Well that's kinda the point. If GLaDOS said something when secret room is entered, then there would have to be an audio file to hold that audio data. Thus giving away a secret.

I couldn't figure out how to ACTUALLY solve this test, so I took one of the Ratman's water bottles and used it to block the laser while I just put the cube on the button. I didn't even realize that was the wrong solution until I learned that the secret Ratman Den was... well, a secret.
