Canon PowerShot G10 have a good reputation with some my friends who use DSLR camera (but I haven't use it). But it can't take HD and it is released in Oct. 2008. Canon will release new version of PoweShot G10 (G20?) in this fall, maybe.
Am thinking of buying one of these camera's Panasonic TZ7 HD for underwater holiday shots. Do you think it is a good camera and get enough light from flash underwater, also does it have a night mode and take good pictures in total darkness (ie put out a green light focus beam). I look forward to any of your commends and like your other vids too.
I guess TZ7 is good for wide scene but weak for macro scene with no external flash and close up lens. Basically, I bring 2 camera (I use this only for wide scene with no flash and I use another camera for macro scene) in underwater. If you would like to control the aperture or the shutter speed like DSLR, you should not buy this because you can only select some scene modes. This has a night mode but I haven't use this mode. I think the strongest functions of TZ7 are HD movie and 25mm.
One theoriy is in the process cleaning of parasites and removing dead skin to hit their body to surface. But there are some theories why manta ray jumps. Practically, it is not yet known.

What caused it to do that? The bubbles? Or is it simply doing it for pleasure, like dolphins?
