It would be more impressive but just because a sight is being used, doesn't take away the fact that they are very skilled.

People put too much emphasis on aiming, thinking that if you have a sight then your arrows will automatically hit the gold. Aiming is a bad word, a better term would be "pointing you bow". The sight is merely a device that tells you are pointing your bow in the same place each time. It is just a reference point just like your chin/jaw is a reference point for the string.
