  • I want to be a Dj i want to know the begginers tech so can u help me???

  • @FizZ995 YES WHAT SETTING DO YOU HAVE, WHAT ARE YOU USING/

  • @FizZ995 my website pretty much covers every aspect of techinque and tech, buying options and is a specific website (totally free too) to help the absolute beginner to the more advanced. You need to decide vinyl or CD and also have a mixer. doesn't have to be expensive to start but the better it is the quicker you will progress-you won't have to fight the equip doing what it wants as well.

@DJUniqueBeats I use Shure M477s, Butterrugs as slipmatts, any scratch record you get from an online shop.

  • Better tutorial from dj angelo

  • How would I do some of the scratches if I use software for DJing?

  • @gato90909 none I know of other than Native Instruments (Traktor) or Serato Final scratch. These combine decks (or a midi controller) with software, Most PC software is basic and purely for mixing (you are better using Acid by Sony. In a lot of cases you don't even have to beat match anymore. You can learn mixing techiniques and basics from software so would give you a leg-up should you try it for real. Scratching needs LOT of hours too and 12 years in I'm still crap (but trying!)

  • Good lesson , Thank you to teach us ^ ^

  • What turntables are u using?

  • wow really helpful

  • this guy looks like one of the guys from sons of anarchy lol

i don't know his setting sorry

  • @muaythaibest1 Thanks

  • @DjUniqueBeats Hi I know this reply is a bit late but those needles are the Shure M-447. Designed specially for turntablists. I use them & they're great, nice loud bassy sound & they hardly ever skip. Peace.

  • nice 1 m8, actually learned quite alot here....... gonna try it out now.... keep you posted on progress ,,thanks again;-)

  • @MegaDeeman thanks for watching Regards

  • i no i sound like a douche but what is the main purpose of doing different scratches during songs?

  • @SeanReyDJ it's like you ask why use different FX when mixing music.. bro

  • @SeanReyDJ i'm not a dj or anything, but it's like doing different rhythms. depending on what's going on around your scratching, you'd want different patterns to fit what was going on. listen to what he does at the end

  • I never knew there were actual names for each scratch.I knew there was sheet music.Turn table are officially an instrument now.

It would be cool to learn in school instead of trumpets lol

  • @laughorgomad yeah turn table are great if you know what u do they turn to an instrument for sure
