  • Too bad he didn't write some of these stuff. He didn't write the "We ride" song.

  • wow.... going through this playlist, I haven't ever really known just how many of my favourite movies contain his compositions!

  • wow. They say the best place to hide something is were everyone can see it. I think that applies to hans zimmer

  • Hans... u r the best of the best

  • Hans always sounds so familiar

    he is so very disney

  • the imagery really adds to the mood. Good score by Zimmer; great suite by CinemaSound! ;P

Sounds like a mix of Zimmer, Morricone, and Alan Silvestri's score to 'The Mexican'.

  • If any of you happen to like Breaking Bad a youtuber made an excellent tribute to the show using this piece of music(among others). Just search "[the men of] Breaking Bad" and skip to about 2:40 on the video. It's great and introduced me to this wonderful piece of music.

  • Wanna be Hans Zimmer and be able to Compose so great epic music!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Zimmer really proved with this soundtrack that he understood both Spaghetti Westerns and Ennio Morricone. What an awesome suite this is.

  • Yay! No thumbs down!

  • Simply the best music and animated movie.

  • ive listen to this for the past hour, thats only 4 times!

  • A film with the music of Hans Zimmer and the voice of Johnny Depp can't be unfabulous <3

  • I really hate Hans Zimmer for being so Great!! :@ And being responsible for the music to almost all my favourite movies:@

  • 12:35 Kino Der Toten. LOL. I guess the developers of Call of Duty Black Ops do know German.

  • This was like a NEAR PERFECT ANIMATED FLICK. The Story was Unconventional and New for us to learn, same with the Direction, and it wad full of Scenes to Laugh at and have GREAT FUN with.

  • 07:04 That's suites him quite Perfectly.. Eh?

  • Hans Zimmer is a living legend! between this score and Sherlock holmes he has the flavor of ennio morricone running through him. i think hans gets better with each new score.

  • Great music and a GREAT movie, too!!

  • @oobrocks Aye, got that right.

  • I'm in love with Zimmer's Music! :D Screw the Academy they have no taste in Music! :D (HESSE!!)

Ich habe mich in Zimmer's Musik verliebt! :D Schei? auf die Academy die haben keinen Geschmack für Musik! :D (HESSEN!!)

  • @blackmii It's not the Academy that decided. It's democratically voted in. And who cares what they think anyway? If I said 'I like Trent Reznor more than Hans Zimmer, would it matter? No. And it shouldn't matter if the Academy says it either.

  • @StygianWhite aw but let me be mean just for once please... ;D For me Hans Zimmer is the Best and that they have no taste in music was meant as a compliment also ... :D

  • @blackmii No darn kidding! A lot of the times I don't think they have taste in movies either. But ah well. I think the only reason most people watch the Oscars is to see the stars.

  • @GoldenFlither15 I watch it to see my fav People from the Business getting their well deserved prices. but somehow it's rare that my favs get the prices...

  • @blackmii You're not alone. It's been ten years and I'm STILL pissed at the 73rd Academy Awards. But since then, I don't take them seriously anymore.

  • @GoldenFlither15 what happened then? I haven't starting watching it at the time

  • @blackmii I didn't think 'Gladiator' should've won Best Picture. Like 'The Social Network' winning Best Original Score (seriously, what the heck?), it was the one I was pretty confident they wouldn't pick. But, stupid me, the winners are about as agreeable as the winners they choose on AFV.

Ugh, sometimes I think they do it on purpose just to get under our skin.

  • @GoldenFlither15 Yeah. I was very surprised, but not in a good way, when Social network won for best score. Fair out: I haven't seen the movie, but they played the score when they had won so... NO! what the?! I was like "Hans and John have made way better scores! This year it was for me between Hans Zimmer and John Powell, cause how to train your dragon was an awesome score as well.

  • @blackmii Complete agreement from me. I was torn between Hans Zimmer and John Powell. Great scores for awesome pictures (both which actually ended up getting screwed in other categories.. go figure), and 'Social Network' gets the glory. *sigh*

  • @blackmii A lot of films get screwed, many of them being really great pictures. You'll notice 'True Grit' didn't win a thing. And so many amazing ones didn't even get nominated for a thing they were exceptionally brilliant at. Sure there are exceptions like 'Unstoppable's nomination, but way too few. WAY too few. The lists of nominees are very repetative, and that really pisses me off. They claim to be inclusive, but they're insanely obsessed with dramas.

  • @blackmii There is a reason why the Academy doesn't pay much attention to Zimmer anymore. I think it would be important if you knew that Zimmer doesn't really write anything anymore, but rather represents his team of composers as the name "Hans Zimmer". He is an EXCELLENT business manager, and was an excellent composer. I hope I've made things clearer.

  • @clashx9 Well, I knew he had his team doing much, but I didn't know about him just representing his team under his name. Thanks for the Info :)

  • Thanks for the nice Comments !

  • Excellent!!

  • GLORIOUSLY EPIC

  • Hans Zimmer is a legend
