Life has been troublesome for my family for the last ten years. I am 56 years old, take care of my 88 year old father living with us and try to encourage my husband.

Because of the economy he was out of work for a long time and we managed to save the house but are in major debt due to the economy and caring for our elderly parents. I need to make money from home to care for dad and help him. So far can't find anything legit. I once had dreams and hope but life has passed me by.

You have the same 24 hours every one else does. How you use that is up to you, true, but the fact that you are here, and able to be of such great service to your family is something to celebrate no? Imagine the situation without your unselfish love that you share with your family. Not even an economy THIS bad can tear you apart.

It's never too late. And that feeling that you got from listening to her? About being able to solve all of the problems in your life? It's a wonderful feeling, but I think we should both try to settle for trying to be at peace with life even with unsolved problems. I think that is the more important short term goal...
