num,num,num...I <3 onigiri. We had some in my japanese class 1 time and it almost tasted like mint leaves...maybe cuz my sensei put in mint spices, lol! We also had sushi and special veggie type pancakes with mayo drizzled on top *drewls* I think i ate the most in my class cuz i kept going back 4 more...felt soooo sick after, but happy. ^_^

Im pretty sure they just called them rice balls because when they transalate they transalate every word.

Im pretty sure in the japanese version they mustve said onigiri. I remember watching the original pokemon when i was younger.
