It's revealed what happens in R2 (rebellion 2, otherwise known as season 2), Suzaku instinctively dodged the bullet (probably because Lelouch casted the "live on" Geass on him, as you will see in R2, this "live on curse" prevents Suzaku from dying and he subconsciously acts in many situations to save himself) but by barely, it destroys his ear piece. This is such an intense scene. Easily one of my favorites. Both sides had every reason to be upset with the other. Even though Suzaku is often hypocritical, he couldn't have known that Euphie was geassed by accident. I actually felt really bad for him here.

Also this one of the most painful cliffhangers ever. It was such a long wait for R2.

um actully he would ahve...in the world of c place lelouches geass worked on Charles the first time, until he shot himself. he got up and had the code symbol on his hand...(the code doesnt activate until the person dies once after getting it.) also giving up the code doesn't kill you..vv gave the code to Charles, but died later from the injuries..not instantaneously(passing on the code only give the ability to die, it doesn't cause the death.
