I really liked Kotor 2, its actually a great game with the Restored Content mod. It's just that LucasArts rushed Obsidian for an earlier released, so they had to cut so much stuff from the game.

I love KOTR 1 It was easy for me. Some of the task hard for me. But, I kept going. KOTR 2 was hard for me. I rarely played KOTR 2 game. So confusing for me. Way harder than KOTR 1. Also on the boring side. (Most of the time.)

I loved this game, but I couldn't bring myself to finish KOTOR 2. It just didn't live up to my expectations after playing this masterpiece. I believe I did 2 playthroughs back-to-back, then immediately started a 3rd one and got half way through before I finally got bored of this game. Not typically something I can do, as most games barely last 1 playthrough for me. I think each play through took me roughly 30 hours, so I think I had about 75 hours in this game before I got bored.

@b00mYou KOTOR 2 was a terrible game. I tried playing it on 3 separate occasions and I just couldn't bring myself to finishing it. If you need another GREAT game to play though I'd suggest you try Fable. I'm currently in the process of beating it for 6th time lol

@fortisKID Actually game wise KOTOR 2 isn't too bad. What bothered me was the story line, most importantly the ending. I mean, why couldn't they make a similar ending to it like in KOTOR? So from that perspective KOTOR 1 is way better, both game wise, and story wise.

Yup, they just dont make em like they used to. In my opinion, this is one of the last games made that really had a huge amount of thought and love put into it by the creators, not just "We gotta jack up the graphics as much as possible!!"

@Gigantor0001 I dont have a problem with that, and the story itself really isnt the problem either. My problem is the way the story is told, for example, The Force Unleashed. Great graphics, characters, and a core story, but because the game is so short and no real character development happens, it feels so empty until the end (at which point we are treated to an epic, awesome, and exhilarating ending that makes you forgive most of the flaws),but even so, playing through a second time is a bore.

Bastilla, and a small group of Jedi Knights boarded Revan's ship. There, Malek thought it would be a perfect time to turn on his master, and kill the Jedi knights at the same time. Malek fired his cannons and thought he had killed Revan, but they all escaped. Bastilla wiped Revan's memory to use him for the Jedi counsil.

@Overtime123 yeah me too, this game really makes your feel like you're experiencing all of what happens to Revan. It's an incredible game. I was mad at the council and bastila for tricking me, at the same time I'd worked so hard to be light sided, and I befriended jolee, and carth, and juhani...and then there was the bastila love quest. Just so much good depth of story and character.

alas I never got to enjoy the twist...because I went over to my friends house and he was already being called "revan" in-game...at the time I didn't understand but when I got the game for myself and heard Revan tossed around a couple times I was like "DAMMIT!!!"

like me, i was reading a review before i played the game and some idiot was explaining a bit of the game when he said something like "and as you progress through the game you (Revan) will either fall to the light or dark side of the force" and i was so dam pissed, if i coulda got ahold of that person i woulda cracked their skull for that. Probably the best video game twist EVER and i had it ruined for me because of some thick moron. I still enjoyed the game though, im playing it now.

THIS is why I believe KOTOR (along with Tie Fighter) is the best Star Wars game of all time. Not since Vader's revelation in Episode V has there been as momentous of a plot twist in the Star Wars mythos.

The fact that it's in an interactive form only enhances its impact. You're not just observing the protagonist learn that they were also the main villain, but the very fact that you controlled them makes you yourself the villian. You are your own personal Sith Lord. YOU are Revan.
