Why can't I hear my heart with iStethoscope?

i have a ipod tuch 3g and white earphones who have a mic but i can't hear my heartbeat? could someone help please?!

@SyafiA7X Should work, but you must have a microphone. Try the iphone white earphones - however as shown in this vid, the best results come from the iphone's built-in mic. I don't know the best plug-in mic (I've tried some of the cheap "pill" mics and they are not good enough to hear a heartbeat).
