  • peace plz check rekkitten on youtube wish u best ever

  • Ah yea no

  • My favorite part of the list is they mentioned the avoidance of the reality of death because I've been saying for a long time.

  • There would still be wishful thinking in a world without religion.

There's a difference between faith and hope.

Hope's fine, but there comes a point where it's either fulfilled or you have to accept the fact that your hope's been in vain. Moving beyond that point means wallowing in self-delusion, shutting off from reality and boxing yourself into a hallucination of your own making.

Of cóurse you'd be happier in this delusion, why else would you *choose* to believe in it?

  • damn u got a hell of bigger list then i had lol great vid

  • for ant religious crist fags out the his the point of view from an athiest

"I am become death destroyer of worlds" and if u so called imaginary friend in the sky is so accepting why is it that so much in your pathetic life is taboo ? or is it only taboo if no one sees u doing the deed? quite honestly if u read my comment and ur a crist fag fock off and kill urself

  • great video ... thank you a lot ...

my church-going friends will love it too ..

    :D

  • i'm an atheist and the thing i hate most in religion is that when i say: i'm an atheist, people always say: YOUR'E AN ATHEIST??...oh.yeah okay..(but they are thinking: OMG!! Aren't you ashamed??)...This is so weird cause they can't imagine there are people that don't belive in god..i'm from greece and everybody are Orthodox Christians, and they can't respect that may some people aren't.

p.s.i'm sorry for bad spelling... :(

  • Imagine No Religion

we would probably be 500-1000 years more advanced

  • the problems would still exist...

  • science, internet, telephone, airplane, spaceships etc...

Just some of the creations of human beings based on KNOWLEDGE" and not faith or religion,,,

  • what song is this?

  • Imagine-Originally by John Lennon. ^_^

  • People who are brainwashed by christian can no longer wakeup.

All we can do is to prevent more children being brainwashed into believing it for their life. It's totally evil and ruin peole's life.

  • I was a Christian and I deconverted(?) a year ago. I still have trouble adjusting. =/ It's bloody horrible.

  • Good job. U make a smart choice. Religion is totally blood sucking. I believe it's made to keep us in line during the old times whereby there's no LAW so...religion makes the law.

Now we have law dispatch from religion so religious things are GOD damn Out-dated long ago. So just stop believing in this bullshit. If there's a GOD , it wont be jesus or allah or whatever.

  • Imagine no religion- If only....... If only.... the world would be such... a better place! :)

  • Atheists can make an unlimited amount of statements that insult a persons way of life, and nothing is wrong with it. But if a Christian contradicts them or "insults their intelligence" that Christian becomes a bigot/hypocrite. How does that work? Is it possible that Atheists are guilty of everything they accuse Christians of? The more of these videos i see, the more it begins to look that way.

  • The difference is that atheists insult your way of life and thinking because it involves basing your life off a 2000 year old book written by men living in the Bronze Age who knew as much about the Earth as an 8 year old of today. You can believe whatever you want. I am going to tell you why it is fucking retarded.

  • you have a lot to learn. The Bible is full of wisdom about life and the Earth as well. There is no valid or logical reason not to believe the things it says. Everything it says regarding the planet has been proven to be accurate and has even been used as a basis for archaeological discoveries, such as the capital city of the Hittites which the seculars swore did not exist. If you dont want to believe thats fine, but dont make intellect your excuse for not believing

  • The Earth isn't flat

The Earth isn't 6000 years old

    Pi != 3

There was never a world wide flood where a man put every organism on a single boat

    There are no talking snakes

There are no people created from ribs

Your bible has 0 evidence to back it up. None. Not one bit. It has so little evidence to back it up it belongs on the same shelf in the library as Humpty Dumpty and Cinderella. Sorry that you got brainwashed by your parents and can't distinguish religion from Santa Claus and the like.

  • quite the rational thinker aren't we? Bible doesnt say the Earth is flat. The Earth is around 6,000 years old. There is evidence supporting the idea of a Flood/catastrophe that effected the whole planet. And they even believe they found Noah's Ark exactly where the Bible says it is. 0 evidence you say? I have a few things to say about that as well. But first, lets hear your evidence that supports what you believe.

  • lol whatever you say.

  • How can you prove the Earth is 6000 years old?

I can prove it is ~4.6 billion years old

I have never heard about Noah's Ark being found. Surely this would have and still would be on the news and in every magazine. Evidence for religion of this magnitude would be unparalleled and would be available to everyone in the world, not just seemingly you.

The speed of light and the distance we are from other visible stars completely contradicts a 6000 year old galaxy and Earth.

  • You're a deluded moron, kingblake87. Put down your bible and pick up a junior high science text before you come back here and make a fool of yourself again. Noah's Ark? Adam and Eve? Give me a fucking break! Goldilocks and the Three Bears is more believable.

  • take your education beyond junior high and maybe you'll learn something. God Bless

  • You actually believe that the earth is 6000 years old? That single delusion is enough to tell me that you're a nutcase. You don't deserve to partake in the benefits science has given us. Turn off your computer and go back to papyrus scrolls.

  • whatever you say bud, enjoy your non-proven scientific theory

  • @kingblake87 Scientific theories are yet to be proven. Proven theories are called 'laws' (e.g. Ohm's Law, Newton's Laws). A theory only offers explanation for physical phenomenon.

Just to clarify the misconception. :)

P.S. I wish religions will be humble enough to call their bold claims as theories since there is no absolute proof yet.

  • WRONG!!! proven laws are called theories >:(

  • @davidls11 repent jesus loves you.

  • Actually the bible does say the Earth is flat, but you have to be smart enough to infer it from the text.

  • of course....

  • What if you are hindu? They certainly have reasons for not believing in the bible, as they have their own religious texts. Are you saying that the entire hindu population of Earth are illogical for not believing the stories of the bible?

  • Why are people more concerned with fairytale dictatorship when there exists real dictatorships in the world? o.0

  • A dictatorship is a form of religion as far as Im concerned. People worship Kim Jong Il in North Korea.

  • Is religion about worshipping authority?

  • Not all religion. I think this video was mostly aimed at oppressive ones like christianity, judaism, and islam.

  • Do we have to draw a line? Do we have to define? Sing to all that is and all that is will sing back!

  • Divinity found through unconditional love is very objective because the ego does not have to guard against rational thought!

  • But in loving we find the intuitive connection and that love is a force that goes beyond the physical.

We find a love that is unlimited and beyond definition, that is the God I find smiling in the morning sun!

" Realizing falling in love is not falling but a meeting on a heart space is an epiphany! "

Find the loving way have an epiphany today!

  • if there was no religion ALOT of people would fear death

  • prove it.

  • Im an atheist and I don't fear death so why would you?

  • I'm an atheist and I'm trying to make the world a better place before my time

  • @JunglePweople repent jesus loves you.

  • I don't know what ALOT means numerically, maybe you meant to say a lot.... What a precise estimate! That is nothing but an opinion that can never be adequately tested, because you just made it up to compensate your lack of better argument. Why would the fear of death be a bad thing? I would rather know that my time is limited and live for today than be fed bullshit about an eternity in la la land....

  • Wow, nice list! :O

  • Love is the truth above all dogma.

We can anchor it to beauty, we can try to

make it our own but it was meant to fly free for all to see! As we fly with it now

and for ever more, open up your heart's door so you can feel it as we soar! God is love!

  • Yeah, he's so much love that he killed every single human on earth. Not only that, he even burned down 2 cities. NOT ONLY that, he even killed children. So no, god is not love.

  • The God, I was talking about is not found in a book or a building but is felt with the heart!

  • Another species of God? Cool! :D

  • God is not needed to love someone else.

  • horrible cover of the best song ever >.>

  • Great video. Thanks for spelling it out. Yeah, that list does go on... and on. If there is an intelligent and caring God up there, why doesn't he hurry up and... Deliver Us From Religions!! I like the version of John's song, too.

  • Religions are history.

  • WIN.

  • no gods no masters. religions is nothing but lies...church is poison priets a fucking child rapist..

  • Imagine no religion... our beloved WTC would still be standing and the thousands killed would still be alive today.

Religion is the root of all evil.

  • it's all non sense!!!! either your forgetting, or you don't know that without religion, the world would become chaotic, and everyone will have very little sense of morality. we should be thank full that we have religions. if there was no religion, after some years all you people who say you agree will regret it. people will lose their cultures, and sacred traditions. and the world will become hell it's self, the very place you all think doesn't exist, will be the place you live in eternally!!!!

  • lol!! 5/5

  • well said diuryl

  • If religion is the source of morality why are atheists and agnostics the most law abiding people in America according to the American prison data with 75% of inmates being Christian while only .02% are atheist/agnostic compared to 75% of the nation being Christian and 10% being agnostic/atheist? Equal representation for the Christians in prison, drastically less representation percentage for non-believers.

Please explain based on your ideology how this is possible, if you can.

  • well we're not only talking about christianity.....just religions in general. there are milions of people word wide who's cultures and traditions are tied to religion....or should i say faiths. and to say we should get rid of them is absurd, what about those people and their beliefs cultures, and traditions? should we forget about them, including my family and i?

  • Do you remember the beliefs, cultures and traditions of Mycenaean civilization? It might be uncomfortable for you but modern people are trending away from religion and society isn't collapsing. On the contrary, people in democratic nations are experiencing levels of prosperity and civil liberty never before seen on earth.

Science has shown itself to be the answer to the physical problems of humanity, and reason shows itself to be the answer to the philosophical questions.

  • no, i'm not familiar with their cultures and traditions. and what you just said applies mainly for the western world. the asians still strongly believe in their religions and also do very well in sciences. same for africa, and south america. and you say physical problems, but what about personal spiritual problems, because if those aren't solved, then ofcourse there will be physical problems. and i see your veiw of religion is completely off, and quite very wrong.

  • How do you explain the people who developed personal problems directly from their experiences withing fundamentalist religion and the mental health they gained in their secularism?

So, you tell me, why is religion valuable if people can be happy and healthy without it?

Comparing western civilization to eastern or African is irrelevant. You can't credit religion with the success of those cultures in modern fields any more than you can the social success of the Netherlands in their secularism.

  • it's not irrelevant, it's a serious fact!!!

and blaming every wrong thing that happens in the world on religion is utter rubbish. even if you remove religion from the picture, there will always be conflict aslong as people have different ideas and views on certain things....yes religion is responsible for alot of blood shed...but like i said, religion/christianity has been twisted over the years. and again all this, "to hell with religion attitude" is mainly a westerners veiw point.

  • When did I blame religion for every wrong in the world? If you check, I've only blamed religion for the wrongs it directly caused here.

If people could manage to think critically and still retain some comforting religious blanket then I say that's good enough.

I just don't understand why you're getting so emotional about this and building straw men instead of simply responding to my questions.

  • and what wrongs are these? cos i don't think religion is to blame but the few who follow it, that same few who misunderstand, and distort the religious doctrines.

and what's this, "think critically business"?

and i'm not getting emotional....you're not the first person i've debated on this same topic, i just really want to understand why peole want to throw religion out the window because of what a few terrible people do in the world.

and what questions didn't i answer?

  • What specifically do you want to know about critical thinking?

The unanswered question: "Why is religion valuable if people can be happy and healthy without it?"

Analysis shows secular people to be some of the happiest and healthiest in the world, especially those in secular countries. When religion CAN BE (not always is) used as a tool for legitimizing violent radicalism and can distract people from spending their time learning science or other useful skills, why work so hard to preserve it?

  • ok now listen here....seems like you're implying that us people who believe in somethings are delusional idiots who waste our time praying, fasting, and reading sacret books, instead of learning more science....and all that.

personally i am interested in science, history, geography. i've done accounting, business management on a higher cambridge university level in high school. and i am religious, and also well informed about the modern world and what happens in it. some of us....

  • some of us are not prepared to live lives where we don't think about our purpose in life, where we are from, and where we are going. some of you say religions are things people use to make them selves feel better about life and live it easy. that might be true to a certain extent, but definately is not 100% true.

people like you forget......that religion has contributed alot to this world and just because people have been practicing it since ages ago, doesn't mean it has to be forgotten....

  • people like you also forget, like i've said many times before, that many cultures inculding my own are strongly tied to religion, and to say "to hell with it", will hurt millions of people around the world. and why is it just the west that complains about this. i've never seen the asians complain about their religion, they live peacefully with their religion and they're advanced in sciences. i wasn't always religious, but now that i strongly am, i'm happier than i was long ago.

  • If your assumption is that the non-religious people don't consider a purpose in life, you need to acquaint yourself with an adult who isn't religious.

Religion once, early in human history, served as a source of governance. It still does in some technologically backwards societies without individual freedoms or democracy.

If you choose to practice religion and gain pleasure from it, that's fine. However it isn't an argument for where in today's modern world religion serves a grand purpose.

  • i wasn't a christian/man of faith all my life, infact i'm very young in my christian life. so i knew and still know people who are non-religious.

and also i'm from a third world country where democracy, and individual freedom isn't as great as in some places and the government doesn't use religion to govern people. i know that's how the ancient world worked but nowadays it's no longer like that in many 3rd world countries. i see that you haven't travelled much from the things you're saying.

  • just because people used to use faith in the wrong ways back then doesn't mean we should forget about it, and "move on". the worst thing people can do is forget the important things faith and religion have taught us in the past. and move on using science which doesn't teach people at all how to have peace, live peacefull lives. & how to treat our others with respect.

"do unto other's". the golden rule of all religions, which hasn't really brought complete peace, but it brought some peace....

  • ....to the world. and you and others say we should remove and forget this, which will only bring more violence and chaos, than what the world already has.

being faithfull doesn't mean we're being backward. and we're neglecting all the modern ways of living in our lives, we accept all that but through the daily troubles of life we need to have some peace in our hearts, clear minds, and be comforted during troubled times. religion doesn't mean living a life of constant fear of the invisible.

  • What`s the song?

  • A Perfect Circle - Imagine

    (John Lennon cover)

    :)

  • I like the original beatles version better.

Keep dreaming for now, don't worry someday we will join each other.

  • I think people will miss the 'avoidance of the reality of death' the most. That, and they'll miss their excuse to belittle minorites such as homosexuals or atheists. Then again, just because they'll miss it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be gotten rid of.

    Nice vid *****

  • Totally agree. The whole "afterlife" is what makes the billions of insecure peoples around the world feel just that; secure.

  • It'll be mss-panic an d chaos.

"NO I DUN WANT TO BE EATEN BY WORMS WHEN I DIE, NOOO, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo"

  • yup.. freeze urself down until technology can bring u back up and renew ur cells and stuff! or a half robot thingy, like a cyborg:)

  • that's if religion doesn't destroy our planet before we're allowed the opportunity to advance and explore space.
