Don't know how to comment about the bathroom situation since I'm female, but I know about the personal space. I have a problem with people who get too close to "my space". It happens in the check-out lines at the store. One of these days I just want to turn around and scream, "Would you back off? You're not getting anywhere faster by crowding me. And I'm short (5'3"), so it just feels awkward when a tall person stands too close to me.
I try putting my shopping cart behind me or swing with stuff as if not noticing them so they back off

By the way, close sitters in a nearly empty room (along with really far sitters) is done more often by people with some psychiatric problems. Wow... funny enough today i experienced the person who was in the bathroom #2 and talking on the phone. How do i know? Really loud poop, and no shame to converse in a public rest room. *sighs* I'm not even going to mention the persons nationality because that would just make it even more awkward.
It's just plain sad because it was a ladies rest room. What ever happened to being lady-like? oh well to her i guess...

LMFAO.. i cant stand weird people. like you know those people the make you question weather theres actually a human being running their body. some people i see on the streets look like their cyborgs and shit. i do understand the stage frite though... sometimes its hard to take a piss with somone chllin right next to you. yo alphacat.. im sending you a pickle/peanut butter sandwitch in teh mail.. hope ya like it bro! lol :)

shit man i just subscribed to you recently and youve allready responded to a msg of mine. Thats really respectable man. Lots of people on here get really well known and dont have time to reply to a lot of msg's but you do and thats awsome! keep it up.
one thing thats almost as bad as close sitters is those people that walk really slow and look around like their lost.. and they dont seem to clue in to the fact that you are behind them actually trying to get somewhere lol.

By the way, close sitters in a nearly empty room (along with really far sitters) is done more often by people with some psychiatric problems. One of my professors mentioned this just a day ago in class. This doesn't mean that every guy that sits right on top of you has mental problems...but he's kind of more likely to.
I don't think you attract strange people. You just live in NYC too, that's all. XD

I have the same pet peeve! I study at a library that's usually pretty empty, but some fool ALWAYS ends up sitting a foot away from me. There are empty tables and cubicles everywhere, and I'm just thinking, "Why you got to sit next to me?!!?"

oh and Alpha....u live in NYC right? THAT'S THE CENTER OF THE WEIRD PEOPLE UNIVERSE!!!(although i spend most of my NYC time in the village near NYU where my papi works, so I guess when I visit i see the nuttiest New Yorkers! lol man i got great stories talkin to crack heads in Washington sq park....they say the darnedest things! :D
