The rythic noise is the sound of the ghost box flipping through the channels. It is not the most sophisticated ghost box, so the sound is not very smooth, but it does seem to get results.
one can only imagine what type of sadnes was left by these poor unfortunate souls left to wonder if they were in fact going insane! they probly headr and had seen more than any sane person but were put in a room for calling out nmaes and data at random. who are the crazy people now?!?!? nice findeing tho! :-)
