  • the way they turned it into a tablet is not really smart. suppose u broke the keyboard or lost a key while wuz in tablet mode. they should hav made it where the screen goes over the keyboard.

  • Wacom or N-trig ?

  • i want this

  • I can see quite a few ways of really fucking up that keyboard.. Grinding that keyboard against your lap and whatnot will sooner or later both grind away the letters, and most likely snag on some clothing to just yank out a key here and there. Unless they've thought of that and actually designed a keyboard that isn't shit. Would be a first for pc laptops, and I'd salute them.

  • @ronnysoeberg They have said that the keyboard is recessed, also they have applied a double layer of super strong paint to the keys to keep the letters in tact.

  • @Defengar Ah, good. My post is basically rendered null and void, then. Cool idea. If they added a pressure sensitive pen on that thing it would be super interesting for art students and stuff.

  • this is a good idea, too bad lenovo's suck dick!!!!!!!!!!

  • @way2fasts it's IBM!

  • Why is it called the yoga? You can take off the screen and stand on the keyboard, and it turns into a WiiFit, You can do Yoga!

  • the guys at windows where like "hey let do an upgrade to the windows 7 and name it windows 8.

so whats new? well it got a "v" and "L" mode. thats what is new.

  • what's inside though?

  • wooooooooooooooow

  • tat is how transformers got started

  • Very good.

  • Windows 8 it's soo elegant

  • This lives true to its name: IdeaPad

  • Jim is a cool guy.

  • Very good video

  • this might be the thing i was looking for... is blew my mind since the asus transformer..... but also this will be a full laptop functional... and tablet style... while the transformer is a tablet with a keyboard...

  • A laptop that turns into a tablet? That was amazing 10 years ago.

  • Personally, I hate it. Looks like they tried to use the idea of the Asus transformer line, but further worked on. Who would want the bottom of your tablet to be your keyboard and trackpad? Like I know the back of my tablet gets pretty grimy and dirty, like just normal stuff from holding it. And, well, just a windows thing. I'm sure it's a decent device, but for that price, I don't think it's take off. Nothing really against it, just I don't like it

  • pretty awesome

  • THIS! THIS! THIS!!!

This is what I've been waiting for!!! FINALY!! A machine that can do it all. Windows 8 is the icing on the cake. Can't wait for this!

  • Tablet = Netbook without keyboard

  • I need that laptop the only problem for me is would the screen break easily after many uses I mean it's not supposed to do that but would it though

  • i want it now

  • i hope Lenovo do and cheaper android version

  • @MrKennedy500 their will be no point windows 8 gives u the apps that uw ill need for laptop plus this will play android apps

  • I really like the idea of a tablet and laptop as on device. Plus it has Windows 8 which, even as a laptop gives it a tablet feel.

  • It's a gadget I don't need either way.

  • Superb design. I want one!

  • Tush

  • i bet you people will go nuts when apple copies this.

  • im sure home depot has a stronger claim on the double hinge then would lenovo. give me a break.

  • how heavy?

  • you are such a genius, what are the specs?!?!? tell more technical info about it. Thanks you Steve Job wannabe.

  • Looks like it could be a cool idea, but I don't trust the hinges or how thin it is. It wouldn't be any good for someone like me. I'm almost as tough on computers as I am on my cars and offroading shit

  • Havent we seen this every year for the past 5 years or something?

  • didn't asus allready do this like ages ago?

  • @tqrules01 not with a double hinge... they just pop the screen right off..

  • crave.cnet.co .uk /laptops/fujitsu-ponders-lifebook-laptop-tablet-camera-phone-concept-50006717/

    geek-o

  • tablet laptops have been around forever, but this looks like its finally a polished product.

  • This would make more sense to introduce the windows 8 into the market with.more computers based off this hybrid concept

  • It's gonna suck like Dell hinges... prolly break after about 6 months of use :(

  • This is what I'm looking for. ;)

  • play chopsticks? how many fingers can you place on the screen at once mr.chopstick

  • Oooh, Hot!

  • its a great idea..but idk seems like it could break easily

  • 80's haircut

  • I also don't like the keyboard in the back, it does look sleek. If it turned around and bent so the keyboard is hidden, then it would be sick!

  • @amoghthegamer well, yeah, it doesn't look slick, but it's a power computer. if you want just to look "really cool", i suggest you stick with your iPads and stuff... (im not being a hater here, just sayin)

  • roo bad its over $1000....

  • the concept is great but not good enough. the screen is just uncovered and i would be a bit skeptical if someone by mistake or just by jealousy would throw liquid at it, and there's go the 1,200$ all into the trash or most probably into repairs haha. would be cool if the screen just slides, hides the keyboard and its just a tablet.

  • Ita ok but not gd

  • I really need to get old enough so I can patent all the shit everyone takes from me....

  • 1:08

NOW I GET IT.. you need ten finger touches to open an application !!

  • I see issues with the video ribbon.

  • windows 8 looks pretty dumbed down.

  • @Reijerkolle I think you mean simplified.

  • @osaka35 just looks dumb, and made for people who are dumb. im guessing most people still have trouble using a desktop

  • a hinge on a hinge. its not THAT clever guise :/

  • If apple makes this I'll get one

  • yogaa yogaaa yogaaaaa ~ YOGAAAA FIRE !!!!!

  • That double-hinged setup is pure genius.

  • @DjGalm right?? it's so cool

  • Aweesome

  • first trololol

  • @MrJa1l Not trololololo :D

  • @teras231 i realized... trololol

  • Id buy this if it wasnt out of my cost range

  • Lovely device.

Would be even better if the screen is detachable.

  • @xRaIDeNx69 There are devices that do this. You argument is like saying "Hmm, the Samsung galaxy S II is a good phone, just a shame its not an iPhone". Makes no sense dude!

  • @beelzzebub

Thats why I got 8 likes because I'm making "no sense dude".

Just because there are other devices have detachable screens doesn't mean that everyone should evert from creating such devices.

Its like saying: "Ohhh, Mr.X invented a toilet with flushing so let me invent my toilet without flushing.".

    Your comparasion is also stupid

I was talking about THE SAME PRODUCT just with a detachable screen and not completely different products such as the Galaxy S II and iPhone

  • 1st!

  • Cool
