Opened some of my SOCs. As much as I enjoyed them, each of them had different problems. It's like a double edged sword. Anyway thanks for replying Charles.
Hi Charles is it a common thing for SOC figures to get paint chips during handling? I learned that paint issues are not unusual for the line. Pardon my questions as I collect them misb. Thanks.
@pretenderful For some SOCs, it is quite inevitable that you will get paint chips when your transform or combine the figures. However, for normal non-combining or non-transformable figures, most of them don't suffer from paint chips on handling.
@nghoonho This is about the market rate for this piece. And since it is not likely to be reissued, the price will probably go higher. Hope you enjoy this piece. =)
Thanks for replying Charles. Price aside, it's quite hard to run into one with a good box in view that I am a misb collector. Anyway will continue to keep a lookout for it. Thanks again man.
@pretenderful There is no news of a reissue for GX-34 and after speaking to a Bandai representative, he has told me that Bandai will not reissue toys that are too old. Hence the longer we wait, the less likely this piece will be reissued. Also, I believe that a license from Gainax would be needed if Bandai intends to reissue this piece and Bandai will need to consider if it makes business sense to do so.
Hey Charles, I just saw Revoltech is doing a transforming GunBuster. I'm amazed. I was hoping for one, but never thought they would make one. It should provide a more affordable alternative to this fantastic SoC GunBuster.
@ShiyojinRommyu Hi, the revoltech one is more of a shell-former that a transformable one. It's more of the arms and legs fitting into some shells to form the spaceships. However, it is an innovative idea by Revoltech and definitely a much more affordable piece. =)
I'm so glad I was able to get this. I'm a huge fan of the show and when I learned this toy existed, I had to have it. It's everything I want out of a GunBuster toy and it is on permanent display .
this is a figure I would love to get!
