In my opinion, TWO OF THE BEST HORROR FILMS EVER MADE-the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Psycho! Why? They're both inspired by REAL LIFE nutcase Ed Gein. In my opinion, TCM and Psycho were released at the RIGHT TIME! Back then, audiences worldwide were NOT PREPARED for Leatherface and Norman Bates/Mother!
