  • why did they let this damn herrman "mr. boring" tilke totally ruin this track? I don´t get it. The old layout was so much better...

  • Amazing to watch, thank you for posting. Inspiring.

  • Congratulations!

    the victory of Le Mans!

  • That thing is sick

  • whats the white box for??

  • @superkorridor I believe that is for a cool suit that pumps ice cold water through little hoses in a shirt you wear to cool you down.

  • the closest ill ever get to this is gran turismo 5.....cant wait!

  • Ahhhhh I love the sound of straight cut gears...

Current Fuji is an awesome layout!

  • this guy drives the audi R15 also! wow racing from super GT you still have opportunity to drive a prototype from AUDI!!

  • i want to him to teach me how to be in shape. im fat in sad hes thin and powerful

  • Andre, do you invite Timo Glock to your place for a gathering during Japanese 08 and 09 GPs?

  • Nice View, sound, video

    thnx for this.

  • which nsx is being driven?

  • @schlede09 EPSON Nakajima team,

  • thats a small asssss steering wheel

  • it doesn't roll a inch. wonder how fuckin killing the G force is.

  • does this car have a clutch?

  • Yeah, it does, but you don't really need it to shift. You can just lift your foot off the accelerator to upshift, or you can heel toe to downshift. don't need the clutch ever.

  • Are you fucking stupid?

  • Nope, its true, i've driven race cars before, thats how it works.

  • im sure u did..

im also sure i saw a flying pig yesterday..

so u can heel and toe without a clutch?!

i wish u were in front of u so i can slap sum sense into u..

  • LOL at meedo73 and xtelevisionset.

  • clutch is integrated with the tranny. Same goes for WRC rally races. See how they race? they just hit that shift bar / stick.

  • @mykatamari Most WRcars have a semi automatic gearbox with paddleshifters. The newer NSX's and the HSV-010 also use paddleshifters. Most WRCar transmissions have a sequential stick so that when the hydraulic paddleshifters don't work they can use it as a sequential gearbox.

  • @mykatamari but dont you still have to use the clutch to downshift?

  • @nujabes7 Depends on the system. Most racing sequential gear boxes like this one don't need manual clutch to go up and down the gears. Just to engage and pull off from neutral.

  • @TheCheekytrucker oh ok cool, you info type guys are awesome big help too

  • not "Danm!" Buy a Book and learn something about Sportscars. Sure, every Car needs a Clutch to start moving. But most of the cars with sequential gearshift DON'T need the clutch to be pushed for shifting.

In some cars you have only to lift the throttle 1/3-1/2, pull the stick and step back on the throttle. In some cars they stay on the throttle while shifting because ignition is cuttet while pulling the stick. Some have automatic hydraulic doubleclutch. And so on...

  • I don't know why they gave this comment a thumbs down? It's absolutely correct, they still need a clutch, but the computer does the rest once it's moving. (ignition cut on up shifts, rev match on downshifts)

  • well good post ,but not 100% true. (well in europe) most racecars have a sequential gearbox with ignition cut, thats right.. so no throttle lifting for upshifting. on downshifts however you need to use the cluth AND blip the throttle for the rev-match. dont know about japanes GT cars but in this video he does not need to use the clutch at all(well, besides get going from a stand still) keep on driving safe... also note the driver-cooling-box on the passenger legroom.

  • @QuertrGTRR You are my new friend, thank you for not being ignorant haha

  • what engines do they have in these things?!!!!!

  • i don't know but i try to find that out on google and came across a 4 cam v6 lol

  • nsx engine with supercharger i believe

  • @iceicebuddha

It's Naturally aspirated engine(3.5 V6, 500bhp), there's no superchargers, these sounds that you hear it' from sequential g-box (straight cut gears).

  • Custom-built Honda engine, water-cooled V6 Normally aspirated (Longitudial-mounted), 3.494 liters, DOHC, 4-valves per cylinder.

  • @Lucag120 3.4 liter N/A V8. Produces 500 bhp (in this case, about 7200 rpms).

  • For godsake do not compare games with reality. GTFO

  • oh jesus, what a sound!

  • Oh yeah. These car's are stable. Super GT NSX's run like a F1 car, just 1150kg. Great suspension, lots of downforce with amazing brakes. Seems like this NSX has a weight handicap. On Fuji's straights they go up to 274km/h. I use my corvette tuned in GT5P and it goes over 300, but these cars clock way faster then me. So they handle amazingly.

  • Is super GT cars really this stable even in high speed? The guys look like playing a video game LOl.

  • thats your problem, you're too much into games.

Infact you cant imagine what pressure of GT driver getting.

  • I'm not even talking negative stuff and you come up to me with that comment I drive a "real" car too, not just in a simulator. I never mention it was "easy" I meant this guy make it look easy, because you can see how smooth his driving is.

  • ... love the noise!! the only thing you'll miss here is the great footworks of a non sequential tranny..

  • does it have clutch?? xD....

  • THIS is a supercar. this is what supercars should be capable of.

  • it sounds great, almost as good as a Mclaren except your missing a couple hundred cubic inches and 6 cylinders lol

  • It sounds exactly like McLaren F1 GTR and it has BMW V12 engine....

  • Similar firing order maybe... because its a 6. I'm just speculating, here.

  • yeah not as deep as the 12 of the GTR, but yeah very similar

  • is it 575hp engine in nsx-super gt???

  • I hate American Cars (except the Viper)!! Country men and women start getting pissed off every time I talk about foreign cars!

  • wow, just beautiful!

  • on the third lap he almost overshot the turn in first corner

  • VROOOAP!The NSX super GT is a supercar.

  • You can feel the G-forces by looking at the straped box next to the driver during the turns.

  • best sounding car is the 787B...in my opinion

  • it is definitely in my top three for sure..youtube search Ferrari 412T2 its the V12 Ferrari engine and its scary..let me know what you think

  • actually just search this "ferrari f1 sounds v12"

  • Man honda nsx just sounds awesome!

  • sequential box

  • what kind of transmission is that, doesnt look like the normal manual

  • all i have to say to you is LOL

  • Take a look at a video of the Aston Martin DBR9 thats a real V12 sound , this is not the sound of a v12 but from a v6 an it is it , but a brilliant sound!!!!!!!!

  • the v6 baby,like the sound of a v12...i love it

  • You can see him heel toe by the way his knees shift together. Going down thru the gears he wont need to back off just foot in it and pull back the stick. I love those boxes!!!

  • They don't do heel or toe, that car has a clutchless sequential transmission. Sequential transmission will let you upshifts or downshifts without using the clutch at all.

  • Its part of the rules they have to heel/toe(well it was at this time of racing) on downshifts6-5-4-3-2-1 and even though the boxes can shift without clutching 99.9% of manufactureres of Sequential gearboxes recommend clutching during downshifts. Watch the the Nagasaki GTR driver and you will see what i mean.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

  • ↓こりゃあいかれたコメントだぜ!!

  • driving like hell is his vocation, petrol in his veins ! (bb)

  • its got electric shifting no need for clutch

  • They usually still need to heel toe for downshifts as part of the rules.

  • Helps with the live of the gearbox and clutch. When Mercedes sold their CLK-GTR's to the public, they had the racing paddle shifters out of the GT cars. The car could be shifted without the clutch but Mercedes strongly recommended to use the clutch, if you wanted to avoid a full gearbox rebuilt after only 500 miles.

  • Ah ok. I think in racing, they just lift the throttle for upshifts, and do full heel toe for downshifts.

  • do you need to heel and toe when you are going to downshift this car?

  • how much is it for one of those steering wheels?

  • What a beautiful noise that engine makes...

  • nice movie and he drives well;)

  • that fukin guy can drive!! cars deadly 2

  • He's not pushing it to the limit.

  • looks easy to drive..sure it isnt. car looks like it's drivin really well

  • "looks easy to drive"

it is!! since it's light weighted..

  • OMG super fast gear changes and it is so balanced. Noticed the weight penalty of 20kg. Amazing engine sound!

  • I don't think they put the appreciation weight there.... too close to the driver (in case of a accident)

  • it looks like a practice session or test session

  • vary nice cam view..=)

  • Very nice!

  • wow what a pro.......so calm. HONDA 4 LIFE

  • Not if it's a civic. S2K NSX, yes.

  • this is a gorgeous melody, great vid

  • It's the Epson NSX I believe.

Super GT Race Drivers are extremely skilled. And man, those race cars does have a "Whining" noise.

  • which NSX GT is this one??

  • looks like the Mobil 1...not sure tho could be the calsonic too...

  • This is the Nakajima Epson NSX from 2005, driven by Lotterer and Matsuda at Round 2 Fuji. Lotterer qualified the twin turbo NSX 9th, they finished 8th. 2005 would be the final season for the 3.0l twin turbo V6 NSX engine as Honda Racing would introduce the 3.5l NA V6 for the next race. Resulting in Super GT Victories, but still a Championship eludes the four car NSX effort.

  • wow very nice
