From someone who also spent a great deal of time filming OBP's this is wonderful footage and this is a well-done segment. I dont want to sound disparaging but I have to admit I am very puzzled how this little parrot slipped through the cracks of conservation in a modern Country like Australia. Very puzzled. However I am rooting for each and every person involved in its conservation
Not sure with so many bioligists and scientists and experts , why something obvious like 6 founder genetics throughout the captives , wasnt going to become a problem and soughted out sooner. Release somebirds into expert breeders hands and stop relying on scientists! Most amazing thing i think about this video is the absolutely top notch footage that Bob Mc Pherson has released to you. Thank you and bob for stunning rare footage thats well worth the watch! Sprouted seeds s a good turn this year
