I live in Scotland and we're lucky enough to be able to legally ride 'paths' if a path exists. So I like to create paths without anyone noticing. However I think it's important to respect vulnerable habitats and peoples livelihoods. The trouble is with the kind of trails mentioned in this video is everyone knows about them and they feel too man made. Having said that, Trail centers can be a good alternative if conditions are very wet.
