I still have the souvenir book. My Mother dated it 07/31/65. The ticket stubs are still attached-ready for this-it cost $5.50 for an adult one day pass to the Fair.
I think my dad has movies just like this one from when my family went to the World's Fair in 1965 also. I was only 5 years old at the time....I'm 50 now. Seems like it was so long ago!
I was one and we have similar movies. I hope U didn't get rid of your film reels, like a lot of folks in the 80's & 90's who trnsfrred their films to video, the v.cam quality was crappy and you should re-do them, your films probably look a lot better.
i was 7 when we went to this fair, but still remember it as being almost magical! unfortunately, there are no home movies of our family, so it's nice to see yours and other families' movies

Video preservation seems to be lousy for home videos from then, I guess. Makes one wish there were camcorders...

Go to nywf64 dotcom and be blown away. A trip back in time. The creators also have some great books you can buy with one of a kind photos

My movies came out the same, I thought it was
the cheap film we got with the movie camera.
So putting them on video didn't help.

I was a young boy at the fair also but have wonderful memories of being there. There has never been another one that came close to this one.
