  • Great vid bro.... Thank you!

  • Great video!!!

  • Thumbs up for being broke! Thanks for the video man really helpful, your trucks looking fresh

  • jam or jamb nut

  • i hate that freaking boot! gotta plug that boot into a hose coming off the rack zip tie in the tightest spot known to man. freaking blows donkey balls!!!

  • I forgot to mention, make sure you get an alignment after you install the new Tie Rod.

  • hey, I really appreciate this video. I recently found out that my inner tie rod needs replacing, professionally done it'll cost me about $450. Figured I could do it myself, and this video gave me a very good idea on what to do and the steps I'll have to take. I really really appreciate it. Merry xmas and have a happy new year.

  • Thanks for the help. I viewed a couple of tie rod installation videos on the tube but yours was thorough and for a one hand cam, one good video. I was trying to figure out the placements of the inner and outer rods and you were able to simply identify them...one rod, two separate parts...an inner and outer. I'll let you know know the outcome of my repair...I replace tires to my GMC, Big O estimated $1200.00 for this type repair since the alignment cannot be done before this gets repaired first.

  • Thanks everybody. We all need a lil help sometimes. I know when I first started my Mechanic career I went to school in 94-96 and had many teachers coaching me and looking over my shoulder. Now I enjoy helping others and seeing people succeed on there weekend warrior car projects lol. To the begining mechanic or novice, Never be afraid to do something you have never done, or you will be saying in the future, I wish I would have at least tried. Chase your dreams and never ever give up! GOD BLESS.

  • This was a great help! You really did make this look super easy. And I did the same thing with an $8 brake cylinder compressor from Harbor Freight. Why spend money if you're only going to use it once?

  • Dude, you rock!! thanks a ton. and you did it all basically one handed.

  • This was a great tutorial, too many of the other videos I've checked out there for tie rods are a bit too abbreviated, this was an actual walkthrough which I needed as this will be my first timing changing my tie rods. The part about returning the tie rod end remover was classic- "When you don't got a lot of money you do what you gotta do." I second that.

  • Dude, this is crazy helpful. Thanks!

  • You make it look too easy. I wish you lived next door.
