I'm curious, how do they reset the buildings? Do they bring people in flows, and then switch them back to fully standing? Having a crumbling building suddenly be fully rebuilt wouldn't look very good.
@TheSpiralOrder That part is a bit odd. The crumbled projection just fades out with a full building projection fading back in. It's on a constant loop.
@alextothemax And they might. This was shot during tonight's employee preview night, where not all effects are promised to be up and running. Anything is possible in the coming weeks of the event.
@alextothemax They might add it if it doesn't interfere with the actual projections. That's why there isn't actual rain....well, there is REAL rain, but the scareactors' costumes would be wet & damaged.
The projection technology was stolen from Disney!!! D:

what wouldve really made it complete was if they added fog or something to make it look like dust as the buildings crumble

@alextothemax Don't worry, They do have fog all over. It fades in and out. And they even have their own "acid" rain fall down too. :-)

@alextothemax Yea but if they use fog then you can see the projection beam in the air which will kill the illusion.

I'm really loving this tech and I don't care that's it's the flavor of the month(year), I hope parks keep finding new ways to integrate it!
