i'd drop in late at these two honky-tonks around here from 1975 through 1985. if'n i was there all the musicians knew i was too pissed about everything so's all there was to cure me was blowin my alto sax. to feel 'smarmy" enough, i'd down one, then two pitchers of beer, then about 1:00 PM i'd get the nod and get my ax out of the car trunk. and then blew whatever they wanted, and they said 'he just likes elvis presley alot, folks." probably the best music i've ever played and disremembered.
