How come whenever I switch toons I have to change my keybinds all over again, I even went into the profiles section too see if I can save my existing keybinds to that toon so I won't have to do this when I go back on my main, it's becoming a pain but I like bartender.

I deleted the old bartender and installed this one. Ive then opened it up on WoW bars1-10 dont show but the bag/pet/micro ect ect show. Ive tried to reset the posisitioning but doesnt work. Whats wrong?

Bartender4 bars need to be set up again, if you upgraded from 3 -> 4. Try opening up /bt4 and making sure that all the bars are set to be visible. When you've got them in the right spot, you're going to have to deposit abilities into them again.

Make sure you have write access to your WTF folder, that's the most likely cause of this problem.

Within your WTF folder, you need to go find Bartender4.lua, the saved variables file for Bartender4. Rightclick it, choose properties, see if you have write privileges or not. If you don't, you may want to run as Administrator, or move your entire World of Warcraft install to a place where you have write access.

i just put my skills on the first 2 action bars and have my shouts on the side and i just made my bags/macro menu on the side and made the icons really small so as a tank it really helps open up the screen so u can see alot more clearly... i especially LOVE the /kb feature.. way better than the keybinding shit blizz made

Hi im new to bartender4 and im trying to set my second row to either shift-1, all the way to shift-8 or even A-1 to A-8 but when i bind the first spell to A-1 then i go to the next as soon as i press A the first spell just resets to 1? Please help (ignore the dash its not part of it)

By A- do you mean Alt-? The "A" key cannot be used as a modifier in WoW, unless you physically remap your keyboard (which would make it so you can't type the letter "A" with the "A" key).

This completely messes up your gameplay. What I mean, is especially for druids when you switch forms, or want to change your bars from SHIFT+ you cant do it anymore. For people that arent druids, it might be okay but otherwise it sucks.

Yup, you need to find "# of rows" and turn it from 1 to 12. You can make the bars box shaped, verticle, or horizontal :D

the macro above is a multi-key combo macro, where BT3Button54 is the mount button etc, which is exactly 255 characters. now the wont fit into one macro. why this redundance of adding 'Secure' at the end of every BT4 simulated clicks?

i am used to simulated clicks in BT3, they look like this:

but in BT4 the word 'Secure' is necessary for these to work:

which is a nuisance and redundant, because it just fills up the limited 255 character space which and i do almost fill up all the 255 characters.
