  • You're going too fast I can't keep up

  • Dude I Need You To Do It In Detail Cuz I Cant Keep Up Soooo Yeah

  • Dude your moving waaaaaaaay 2 fast cant keep up with you pls explain again in more detail

  • Is That An UltraSaber???? If So What Kind????

  • what kind of lightsaber is that?

  • thank you, was a bit difficult to gasp the concept at first but now I've sussed it it's quite simple, just gotta practice and get it completely tight now :)

  • tutorial??????

  • @XxTOTALROCKSTARxX this is a tutorial..

  • @the5myth Oh It Seems Like You Showing Off Sorry

  • run a few meters

  • Do you know of a national registry of groups, like NY Jedi?

  • @friend2cptsolo Yes, both me and Vicious (guy in the video) are members of NY Jedi

  • @c15page I knew you guys were part of NY Jedi. I am trying to find local people here in SC. I found a national listing on the NY jedi homepage and looked up some info about it after I posted this comment. Basically to start a local group and get listed through the site is a 100.00 fee and 50.00 a year, which is not bad if that was split between a few people. Anyway thanks!

  • Thanks for the video. I am starting to get it and just under a few hours of practice.

  • god dman it there is somethng missing from this tutorial cause i dont get this at all./ it the behind the back thing. y couldnt you film youreself doing this fom the front AND back at full speed

  • @kit9690 1) this is not me in the video. 2) What exactly are you having a hard time with?

  • @kit9690 I found it helpful to slow the video down. You can do this by going to youtube[dot]com/html5 (replace [dot] with an actual period).

Click the link on the bottom of that page to turn on html5, then reload the page with the video and you'll see an extra button on the toolbar that allows you to slow down the video to 1/4 speed.

  • I do find it hard to do a proper 'circle' of the lightsaber behind my back, and bringing it back to the front of me....

  • @da5idnz Just tried again - I have found, personally, that it's very hard for me to do using a Force FX sabre. It's easier with a thinner stick like a wooden dowl or something, because it rolls on your hand easier when spinning - particularly behind the back.

  • got any like quick tips on how to do this???

  • good stuff man , workin on my lightsaber techniques for my cosplay this halloween . great help !!!

  • i know how to do it now thanks

  • There are loads of videos on youtube of these moves but yours is the only one that goes in depth on really HOW to do it, thanks.

  • Perfect tutorial. I'm now a master of this spin because of you (:

  • very nice form thanks alot!

  • Most excellent tutorial. I had an especially hard time because I was using the only thing I had on hand: a 2lb hardwood bokken. Had to be really careful about hitting myself. But, thanks to this video, I managed to do the Obi-Ani Spin several times consecutively (although not very fast because I still have to watch out for the ceiling fan).

  • Great tutorial :) too bad I broke one of my fan's light bulbs trying to do it XD

  • @Bakublaster You have not truly wielded a lightsaber until you've broken something in your house while practicing, it's like a tradition in this community :D

  • @c15page I broke my fish tank. Saved my fish; Ruined my mothers carpet.

  • @c15page done it

  • Im sorry but what you do when you do it fast to me looks a bit different from when you do it slow i mean even jkust doing what you do slow on repeat is NOT the fast spin how you get the spin on the back to me i cant understand and i dont know why

  • Were do you get lightsabers like that?

  • BAD ASS!!! This is the best tutorial for this that I have ever seen, You go slowly and explain every move and position, Thank You Very Much, now I can look cool and some female might actually think that I'm cool. Thanks Man, I appreciate it.

  • After watching several videos teaching this spin, yours was the one that finally got through to me. Thanks for putting it up. After about 30 min of practice it is starting to feel pretty comfortable. My main problem was understating the importance of turning my body, but it is really key.

  • Took all day, but I got it... yours is still smoother than mine...After the first twirl, when I'm bringing it around to my front, my wrist doesn't allow my blade to get as high as yours so it doesn't make a smooth arc.

  • Thank you for this tutorial... been trying to figure out the hand placement for weeks!

  • I still can't spin my saber at all...

  • @souljainlisted What seems to be the problem?

  • @c15page hey page can you please tell me where you get your custom lightsabers?

  • @GamingNation225 Hey man, just saw this. Most of us use either Custom Saber Shop or a few custom builders that work inside the groups. Viscious (guy in video) uses an old school (read: no longer made) stunt saber from Ultrasabers.

  • thanks my saber just broke in half

  • @yourasianboy51 How fast were you going?

  • @yourasianboy51 its not pages fault just because you did something wrong and it broke just get a new one

  • sucks being a virgin

  • @TheJakesus I wouldn't know, it's been years since I was one. Keep me informed on how that works out for you

  • @c15page LMAO nice comeback xD

  • I am going buy the Luke skywalker ROTJ lightsaber next month and I am keeping this video dude. I love that little part in the Obi-Wan anakin fight when they both spin their lightsabers and then clutch into each other. That part gave me nerdgasms.

  • @ThePunkpunkkid I hope you learn well from this video. Who knows maybe one day you will put it into practice in a fight you create!

  • I hate then red saber looks orange

  • @arcikiller actually, his is intentionally orange

  • I know that this may sound n00b, but, what does the "NY" before the Jedi reference stands for?

  • @DeaDCorE45 "New York" We're part of New Yok Jedi, a stage combat group that uses lightsaber props built for physical contact

  • great vid! i've wanted to know how to do this for a while now. it works now!

  • Ty alot for this lil tutorial. I know how to do something like this, but I wasnt able to do whole sunflower thingie. And now I think I can! I lvoe saber spinning. It looks impressive

  • @Verithiell lol! its called the plum flower spin

  • is the first spin you show us just a normal spin, or is it different

  • @SandDeath24 its a behind the back spin the obi-ani

  • yay Vish!!

  • thanks
