The only .357 i have ever shot out of it has been the big bulk pack you can buy at walmart! just a lead hollow point. I have enjoyed shooting the +p's out of it more then anything.
Do you load this with 357 ammo when you carry? I hear a lot of people say that they use .38 special ammo when they have this gun. Personally I don't see the point of getting something so powerful and expensive if all you're going to use is the .38 ammo.
Loved the video. Looks like the recoil isn't too terrible. I'm intrigued with these and am thinking about a model 60 with 3" barrel for CC and home defense.
best conceal carry you can get! Just dont expect to hit anything bulsey out much past 15 yards. Took me a long time and a lot of ammo to realise this isnt a rifle!
Id like to have the super light weight 357 and use 38+p! I use 38+p in it every day
There is an old saying, Don't blame the tool, blame the person thats using it, check out the following video..."Amazing 100 yrd Shots with a Snub Nose Revolver You can do it too"
The model 60 is awsome, the kick is not bad at all, i've got the 2 1/4" and i was worried about a hurt hand, shot about 250 rounds first day i had it and no soreness what so ever
Great pistol! this one came with aftermarket grips from the factory! I can shoot 38+p all day long!
We took it out rabbit hunting the other day, and I was only able to get one jack with it, just cause my 50yard standing expectastion is WAY too extreme!
This pistol was built for one thing, and that thing it does perfectly at 5 to about 15 yards!
she says THANKS! SHes even better when she can feel the gun, and its not -20 out! 30 yards, and all 5 on a 12 inch circle. not too shabby for a snubnose in double action!
Hey man! Its the cheapest you can buy! LOL! Believe me, when its on my side its got 200 grain hand loads in it! but when the wifes out putting rounds through it, she likes the lighterstuff!
i see good taste in guns:D I cant tell the grip but if its uncle mikes you might want to try a hogue rubber grip reduces some of that felt recoil and handles better in my view experience. nice gun , looks a bit cold for shooting :D or anything else
Thanks man! Since this video, i have aquired a S&W model 41, and i bought her a Taurus model 44 .44 mag. She actually prefers to shoot the 44 because it has better grips.
i am going to swap out to a houge grip on the 357!
@CrimsonNutcase
Ha ha! I just figured out what you mean.... I know. This was one of the first times we went shooting. Have learned a lot since then!

I just recently got one and haven't fired 357 out of it yet. Strictly 38. What load do you recommend in 357 for this piece?

Exactly. I actually carry it with 38 +p's which are quite a bit more power then a 38, but nothing like a 357!

Isn't that what Ponch and Jon had on ChIpS for a firearm?
