Only in Canada would someone be so motivated as to canoe to the ice. Hockey Freaks that we are. But what a scary reality that our #1 past time is almost no more due to the state of our environment. Its a good wake up call for all of those who complain about our winters being too cold. Remember summer of 2005 everybody? Brutally hot! Great video with a good message. Cheers!
Haha..awesome...I love it. I like when you're beating the ice with your stick like a kid...and the canoe driving up. Did you put a real oar in the canoe just in case your stick was too thin? cheers! C.
I did have a paddle in the canoe with me, not knowing whether the hockey stick would work. As it turns out, it works great, although one side does better than the other with a curve.
