To everyone with a " dead " hot sauce: dull it to 2000 or 1000 sanded and it will live again! Did this to mine and it found it's place back in my arsenal. My black widow venom took well to 2000 sand as well.
i have a hot sauce pearl and my suggestion is not to use it very much when you practice it wears out the ball mine died less than a year after i bought it if you clean it, it will last a little longer but after the ball dies it basically just goes straight when i first got the ball i was standing on board #35 throwing it between 2nd and 3rd arrow now i am standing on board #10 throwing up 2nd arrow it has completely lost its hook and i am now getting a hammer plague and that ball works great
i throw a loft like john and averaged 204 in a travel league.... everyone has there own style in bowling you cant say someone is bad because they dont bowl like you...
John is very inconsistant with where he lays the ball down and it is almost like he drops the ball because of how hard it hits the lane when he throws it. he does no justice to showing a true reaction of the ball
i agree that he's inconsistant.....but on the other hand i think it does show true ball reaction. look at how many different spots he hits yet it finds its way to the pocket and carries. i'm not saying he throws the best looking ball ever but he gives a good look to people who might throw similar to him....not everyone can get a ton of revs and a smooth release each and every time.
i have the hot sauce pearl and it has died on me also, my onyx vibe hook ten times more then my hot sauce. but i bowl my first 300 and 800 with the hot sauce so its all good
I dont have nearly as many on mine because many of the oil patterns have caused it to roll out. I dont wanna leave too many 10 pins so I have been using my Psycho which goes longer and maintains its energy after the break.
which lane condition are u hoping to play the new ball in? Hot Sauce Pearl is kinda a ball to go to on med to dry lane conditions... Cell is more of a high oil ball which hooks a lot... Beautiful carry for both, just depends on which lane condition ur looking to play it in.
I just got mine a couple of days ago. i think it is a good ball. especially on heavy oil when carry down comes into play. i doesn't seem like carry down really effects reaction all that much. it will still turn and hit hard.
i just went to my pro shop in my neighborhood to ask about balls because im getting a new one soon and he said it goes too long and sometimes too long when the oil pushes down try making a hot sauce video with a pushed down oil pattern
i dont know, i think all of the manufacturers are good, they just dont have enough balls to make a good clear opinion. i agree with you though, storm is good. hammer is good too. if i ever get a sponsor, it would/will be storm
Don't knock track man...Their older line was very top notch! I still want a Track Heat in my arsenal! Also, looking at a Delta Rule as well. Storm is good as well. Go with what works for your game. I use to use Brunswick when I was a kid and then when I went to the majors back in the 90's, my coach got me a Ebonite Turbo A. I averaged 200 for my last 2 years in youth league! Go with what works for you...You never know!
this ball looks weak as fuck, it just doesnt explode at all...i have a track rising and i put a lot of revs on it and a good amount of speed and it hits like a ton of bricks, and its very easy to control, and it has a pretty good amount of hook
ok, whoever taught these bowlers to play, they did a pretty good job. Howeve, I noticed that most of the players let the ball touch the lane before they released which kills the rev rate so this isn't their maximum potential. Just one thing that I noticed, that's all. Anyone with me on this one?
Columbia Rec. Lanes in The Dalles, OR...very very tough house. Ya loft is good and bad...I used to bounce the ball a lot and it makes the ball jump of line and kills reaction...I learned to set the ball on the lane about 2 months ago, got a Roto Grip Cell and the two combined have helped me A LOT
yeah, that does help a lot. I have a lot of revs so when I got the cell, it slid and didn't have the violent backend like I had anticipated but the ball that you throw is beautiful (even though there aren't many revs on the ball for you)
Ya I am the one throwing THE ONE lol my friend is the one with the No Limit...my rev rate is around 300 now a days, that video is pretty old...I am 19, started when I was 16...Just won the Hot Sauce from Hammer (20 winners 20 days) and Im not too sure about it...I am a Storm/Roto Grip loyalist LOL
nah this isnt too early hooking. it really depends on who is throwing the ball, the speed, the rev rate, and the lanes. the ball in this video is breaking at a good point not to leave a 10 pin constantly but any farther down the lane and you would see that happening.
I love the original. I play a line of norm duke so im not using a big portion of the lane. I just bowled my new high game with tonight. If you want to see the line I use when I shoot just go to my profile
hi my pro shop guy just drilled it in a random place it doesnt match any of the balls drills or how it is supposed to be, is that right or .. ?

I lanes I bowl on for league are usually pretty heavy oiled, and the tournaments i bowl on are medium to heavy.

we watched the same video right? this all looks like it hits really hard

it does look like it hits pretty hard maybe your britness is to low or high on your screen

if you compare this and the second dimension, the hot sauce actually hits much harder.

i am a natural LOFTER and I wish I could lay the ball down at the line...helps the ball read the lane...but some loft is good too

yeah, lofting is a great thing. Especially if you have lots of revs as I do. You bowl pretty well. Where do you bowl?
