  • I love how that girl would throw herself in front of a horse...for animal cruelty.

  • Why do the Beeb et al let this twisted pointless CUNT appear on the telly. Ban the fucker for good before his crafty image-rebranding exercise is complete, and we forget who he really is. A BIG-NOSED, MENDACIOUS, WAR-MONGERING, POINTLESS, CUNT.

  • @davesmith22222222 cool it broski

  • Very enlightening to hear such grand talk about fighting for great causes from a man who did so much to DESTROY debate in politics in the last 15 years or so.

  • This is a very good lesson. The man... he is...

  • Spin media lying iraq war rapist

  • he is actually very good, he engages the children, uses good examples they can relate to, and takes them seriously, well done AC

  • @spaceman979

    He is vermin.

  • this programme highlighted to me that the educational system in our country is more than adequate, you couldnt get lance armstrong, nelson mandela to inspire these kids let alone standard teachers, even if a few of these kids showed some enthusiasm they wouldn't be passing their maths SATS exams that my 11 yr old brother is taking because unfortanately they are thick as shit, education is wasted on these kids and they are stumping the evolution of the human race and should be eradicated :)

  • I've just watched some of dreamschool tonight and can honestly say these kids don't stand an effin' chance of getting on well in life...nearly all are the product of Labour's benefit/entitlement project. FAIL.

Unless the pupils are prepared for FUNDAMENTAL change in the way they think and behave in society and amongst their peers.

i thought it most unfair on PM Cameron to have to sit there answering to the demands of "Labour's children" - demanding further country-wreckin'.

  • @bertyUK Agreed.

  • he seems like a cool guy

  • The teaching method is inspiring, but the philosophy is pretty lame. Teaching these kids to believe they have any power but to beg their masters for table scraps is pretty exploitive. Voting is a suggestion box for slaves. The sooner in life you accept that, the freer you'll be for the rest of life.

  • @VincentBrooke1

I believe it was Emily Davidson that threw herself in front of the horse, not Emmeline Pankhurst, and I don't think anyone mentioned anything about committing suicide in this clip.

  • Oh, you're one of those, are you? Probably best to block you; save you wasting any more of my time...

  • Firstly, as BBC news becomes more and more biased, Channel 4 news is shown to be better. Secondly, the early series of Dispatches were brilliant, as well as numerous other documentaries like Race Vs Intelligence and a two-hour 9/11 documentary comprised totally of never before seen ameteur footage. Also Black Books in the early 2000s and The IT Crowd in the mid and late 2000s. Plus they have funded several brilliant films: Trainspotting, Happy Go Lucky, etc... :)

  • Alistair Campbell is a snake.

  • @insomniac5150 true but he managed to get those kids listening to him. agree or disagree with his methods (i personally disagree with them, for the most part) you've got to admit the man is VERY good at what he does.

  • @j0e1212 i have to agree with you, his teaching method was very effective. can't deny it.

  • all these people saying that these kids dont deserve this education shut up

get your head out of your arse

not all of us are born into an upper class family that can afford that kind of thing

  • A new approach to teaching and the first thing he does is turn the telly on! Emmeline Pankhurst didn't commit suicide, that's a fucking lie! This is a total bullshit programme, full of hypocritical 'celebrity' cunts trying and miserably failing to 'educate' a bunch of brain-dead inner-city brats. What a shocking waste of everyone's time, money and effort. Why Channel 4, for every great programme, do you have to have such utter shit as this!?

  • I think the concept of setting out to help children return to education, through a heavily celebrity laden school, which is the vision of a multi-millionaire chef is not really the best way to solve this. The underlying reason celebrities do things like this is that they eventually realise that material wealth, reputation, status and fame are meaningless. It would be profound to see Jamie drop his celebrity identity and put his skills to use teaching kids in school without a C4 film crew.

  • Brilliant teacher - well done Alastair.

  • Alastair Campbell teaching politics. That's like Hitler teaching Religion. David Kelly and the Iraqi genocide is what this war apologist will be remembered for. That and bullying the media at every available opportunity.

  • Jenny went to my school

  • @MrTyrone666 She quite clearly hates herself that one.

  • One word. Bring back borstalls.

  • @FraterPerdurabo Um, that's three words. You should seek out Alvin Hal to help you with some maths :)

  • How can i help with this project? I'm a single mom of 4, but feel i have alot of emotional experience to share with these young people...My oldest son just moved out of home at near 17 because he chose not to listen to the people who were trying to help him including myself and got me into debt it got to the point were it was effecting the other children at home so i had to ask him either fix up or u have to go, i wish there had of been something like this for him, maybe things would be different

  • The main reason people dont suceed in schooling is that its cool not to, and because its cool not to they dont, and they dont because its cool not to,a terrible cycle. Take them away from peer groupsand 90% would fly through school, but that is very hard so we will see alot of youths putting on a stupid "face" while actually wanting to learn.

  • Alasdair Campbell is an absolute genius! A real down to earth guy who is truly inspiring; thats the main reason im so interested in politics. Top man!

  • @TopGearrules This bloke is a war apologist and helped sign the death warrant of over one million iraqi's - mainly women and children. imagine waking up to the corpses of your children hanging from trees. This is what Campbell made happen in Iraq. He also bullied David Kelly in to taking his own life. Naturally this got the better of Campbell and he had a breakdown. if you want to worship someone might want to choose a person with less blood on their hands. Theirs still time to wake up friend.

  • These kids don't deserve these teachers. Give these teachers to the best students, and see how much they appreciate them.

  • @AlbanianParadox Totally agree

  • Alvine hall is doing finance.

  • ***SORRY BUT DEVILS ADVOCATE HERE*** A dream school where the only thing the black teacher can teach is P.E??

I don't know if I'm looking into this too much but...

  • @Undercovertheory

On the one hand, yes, you are looking too much into the fact that the P.E. teacher is, by sheer coincidence, black..

On the other hand, given that this teaching staff is a microcosm of the present academic/celebrity demographic in certain fields (sport, art, drama, history, etc), it does betray something of a racial divide that needs to be addressed.

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata I have been informed by another youtuber that the Music teacher is also black, which is confirming my original thought but I understand your notion. Thanks for the comment. It's a good point.

  • @Undercovertheory

Well, the music class is being taught by a black rapper and a white poet.

I don't think the presence of the poet is a race issue though; the rapper is young and, thus, probably not legally permitted to adopt a guardian role (including teaching) without adequate and appropriate support.

  • @p3rs0nan0ngrata Ok, thanks for the feedback.

  • This prick talking about politics? What does he know besides how to manipulate the public enough to keep his party in power without achieving any good.

P.s. that Martin Luther king speech was about America not granting the freedom they were supposed to get.

  • Well he has managed to make a boring subject less boring.

  • It really is a dream school when youve got every kid on a snazzy little ASUS laptop with free wifi!

  • @introper yeah I remember when I was made to work on the school's only computer(this was the 90's) because I was too dispruptive I ended up getting 12 GCSE's C and above!! There's got to be something in it! Kids love a screen to hide behind!

  • I've never heard of this dude but I've eaten his family's soup for years. Gotta wonder what a soup magnate knows about politics.

  • Brave lesson - they have the nerve to speak their mind - these are the kids that CAN be political - not the many who have learned to tow the line

    well played Sir

  • wh yarnt they getting told off for ba dlanguage and uniform i would sooooo get told o ff

  • @pouyaraha because its dream school, its not a ordinary school with petty rules! we had the best experience :) it wasent soposed to be like normal school, where education only matters if your not wearing earrings and nail varnish

  • @emmytaylofilms all right cheers.so what your in here

  • @pouyaraha Because the political party this guy is from decided that acting appropriately at school wasn't important which is why there there is so much disruption and so many of you come out without a good education.

I hope you dress and act well. Your generation has to sort out the mess we left you with. :-(

  • @skeletorphd dude my generation bloody hell im younger than u

  • @skeletorphd Really? So...it was Labour's fault that there are failing students in the education system? Please tell me, you're not serious. Has there ever been a time period when there have not been any failing students? In every decade, under whichever government, there have always been failing students. There have always been failing students even in the private sector! Do you still blame that on Labour?

  • @AlbanianParadox There have always been failing students but not in the manner or to the extent under Labour.

Because of their "Big State" ideology, education didn't matter as long as kids were molly coddled & pandered to. It ended up with the situation we have now where education isn't seen as a big deal & kids aspire to stupidity or falseness, i.e. Glamour Modeling, Entertainment

Britian used to be a place of discovery & innovation, under Labour it just needed to be SEEN TO BE fair.

  • oh noooooooo hahaha i look sick.
