  • Weren't there also two other similar segments to this - one with 'Cincinnati' (introduced one syllable at a time) , and one with 'poblem' changing to 'problem'? I vaguely remember those two. Thanks in advance.

  • DUDE...THE FRIGGIN' MEMORIES....!!!

  • Just please, someone, post ALL of the show teasers from episode 261 to episode 130B! Peace.

  • far out man

  • Amazing as always, and thanks for posting this wonderful work.

  • Greatest pop composer ever.

  • Did Joe compose the Barley Farmers' Bar?

  • Gosh, Joan, one would think YOU would know :)

    Yep he did.

  • You tube won't let me use my real name as a username (Alan) so I had to borrow JG's monicer. Why won't you tube allow my real name?

  • I don't know! That's really odd. What's wrong with the name "Alan"? Nothing.

  • Thank you for sharing more great and rare Electric Company animated skits. Yes it's great when you combine Joe's talented songwriting with animation. :)

  • I just love sharing these items with you guys as I find them. We all know how it feels missing seeing this stuff and then finally seeing it again. Glad to make you guys happy :*)

  • Figure some of you may remember one short I just can't seem to find anything on;

it taught the sound sh, gold background, animated graphic, almost silhouette, Indians in a canoe fishing.

Lyric; 'Shall I shoot the fish she asked, I shuddered and I shook my head, I answered who'd wish to shoot a fish, try a fishing hook instead. Splash!' Anybody?

  • Wow, just saw this - yes: that short was animated by Gerald McDermott, and he and I are both looking for it! Do you have a copy of it...?

  • Wow. Just...wow. Your collection of CTW originals is awe-inspiring!

(By the way, I don't know what a needledrop is; could you please explain?)

  • It's the music you hear under a piece of footage. Musicians and music library companies use the word needledrop to measure how much music was used in a spot, and charge for it. A typical needledrop is 15 seconds. It comes from "needle dropped on vinyl record".

  • I figured it had to do with vinyl recordings, but needed to know more. Thanks!

  • (She'll be producing less than a year from now. Another one joins the fold.) :)

  • I remember the cub/cube one. and the power and the "glory" forever and ever. Amen. got anymore scanimates?

  • Wasn't Scanimate stuff also used on some early-MTV videos? Cool stuff, no? ;)
