@lsjd22 It has 28hp. Don't use a big single cylinder engine for a boat. The engine will rip your boat into pieces :D

Btw: We have now 9000 hours! Fuel tank and frame needed some welding and we also flushed the cooling system.

I have a ZS1110 (22HP) single cylinder Chinese diesel on a cheap imported tractor. It is LOUD and shakes a lot, but runs very well, is easy to start, does not smoke and has great power.

yeah...that sounds terrible...send 'er back to china in a coffin, or to some unsuspecting sucker at a public auction..hopefully he doesnt pay more then 10 cents a pound though (i.e. scrap metal value)

Its a 1-sylinder diesel. The knocking sound is actually the diesel explotion, its just hard to hear on a multi-sylinder engine.

the genset is just vibrating when the engine is idling at low speed.

at rated speed it runs MUCH smoother. the set has now over 7000hrs and it still runs pretty good!

those things are built to last...don't get one with a radiator, though because they have problems with the radiators.
