hi!..just a question....should i press enter in order to start rendering my video before burn it to dvd or share it in my computer?...what is the usage of rendering the video?
When using this, I found that stretching the video within the frame will result in it being stretched both ways, is there a way, for instance, to stretch a picture upwards without it becoming broader sideways as well? It seemed rather weird that stretching the picture with the arrow pointing up would be the same as using the one in the corner, if you see what I mean.
When I add still pictures to my video the pictures always have low resolution, and you can't read the text if there is any. Anyways, how can I fix that?
How do you make the video in slow motion or speed it up? I can't seem to find a place where I'm able to do that.
Also, I took many still pictures for a stop motion video and I uploaded them to Adobe Premiere Elements 7.. But I want to know if I can cut the time for all of them at once so i don't have to drag each frame and make it shorter. Can you do that?
@helloimvanessa to answer your first question, when you place a clip, right click it and select time stretch. From there you adjust the percentage (lower is slower, higher is faster)
you can also reverse the clip by selecting the reverse box
I know what you mean. In one sense Vegas is good simply because it's from Sony and is rock solid on more systems. However, the Premiere interface (together with Final Cut Pro on Mac - which I also use) is better for me because I come from a film and traditional video editing background and their interfaces enable me to get things done in the way I'm used to.
I don't actually agree. I've used Vegas and I just don't like it. It's very stable, I'll grant you that, but for many first-timers Premiere Elements is a much better starter option. I run lots of training courses and many of my students tend to agree.
Still video editing software is much like any product - we all have our preferences.
i dont know i used sony vegas first and i think its just a little easier because everything is right there i can right click the video and select event pan/crop thats why i like vegas i got premiere today to try it and i just dont feel like figuring it out you know
Whenever I make a video with PE7 they are HUGE files! A 10 second clip was 250mb!!! What settings should I use?

This looks similar to my 4.0, is it similar but... easier to use?

Yes, it's very similar - just additional functions and features. The interface is pretty much the same, though.
