There's a lot of editing that's done, which is apparent seeing as there's more than just a background piece and a guitar riff. How many times do you go through to come up with each song?

All that said, it comes out REALLY well. Kudos to you good sir, one subscription well earned :)

I listen to the song a couple of times so I'm "in the mood" with it, from there I start playing ideas on top of it. Once I like an idea, I open Cubase and make a very very basic drum track and a placeholder rhythm track. I add some placeholder lead tracks and listen to it to see if it "feels" like it sounded in my head.

Then I make a decent drum track+any other MIDI instruments, then I record every guitar part. Next day I mix and next next day I master :)

At the time I first watched DBZ, there was no way you were gonna see the original openings unless you had a bootleg tape. So, my first real introduction to this song was in MIDI form. 'Cause of that, I'm really partial to instrumental versions of it as opposed to the original, which is kinda funny.

So yeah, really nicely done mix! You reminded me why I dug this song so much!
