I agree - Honda is no good for marine engines. I'm switching to Yamaha as well.

a biddy of mine has twin suzuki 250s they were nice and quiet i love the hondas, but those suzukis are pretty damn nice....

I won't have Hondas on my next boat. Will go the Yamahas. All the other Cats that I have built this size had Yammies & Mercs and we got much higher performance

Not really rough.... If the weather was rough, you wouldn't sail at full speed.

Correct, we were anchored at the Mokes in 50 knots easterly and decided toi make a run for it back to Auckland. Barrier radio could not believe how fast we travelled between Mokes & Little Barrier, then Kawau. Got back to Auckland & it was calm!! Go figure

Yeh true however a merchant officer is in a much bigger boat. My Cat is only 10m & the seas in the video were 4-5 m with 55 knot plus winds. Coastal with currents so the waves are very close
