We deeply want the Sabres to win because of how great the city is, the fans are, the owners are, RJ is, Lindy is, and the team is....I'm a Red Wings fan from NYC and I've seen my team win the cup 4 times (and my Giants, Celtics and Yanks have won too) but let me tell you if the Sabres win the cup I'll cry my heart out because I love my sister city....GO SABRES!

I mean, I'm going into this profession for college. You get these other assholes that dont even talk about the game their broadcasting half the time, and can't even get a pronucation correct. And dont give me that mistake bullshit because it happens constanly, shit I could do a better job. They dont care, its all about the paycheck, no passion.

RJ is different, hes great, and broadcasts hockey like it should be. He is loved by the fans, and is more than derserving of a spot in the hall.

Fuck whaf the league says, their a buch of babies with power thats all. People we are talikg about Rick Jeanneret here, there are not alot ofannouncers out there that can do a better job, how about none. This man purely enjoys his job, and makes hockey sound fun, and he knows how to do it well too. So I say let him call the game how ever he wants. Personally I love him, and I prefer to watch highlights with his voice. His so many legadary calls over the years, just keep me waiting for new stuff.
