people under estimate berettas. my friend kept making fun of me for having one so i raced him and beat him in a 1/2 mile down the high way with no cars blocking us. he was pissed is all ima say. he did have a honda civic and doesnt no shit about cars neway.
What was your time? I call BS, unless you swapped in a different engine. 96 Z26s came with 3100SFI V6 (155 hp) and a 4t60-e transmission (automatic) ONLY. Not to mention they're the heaviest of all Beretta models. Did you beat him in the 1/8 mile? My 94 Z26 with modded 3400SFI V6 swapped in (~200 hp) would be VERY close to that truck, but only because of FWD traction advantage.
Actually, the truck is closer to 5000 lbs, but yes, the power to weight ratio is key. If my car was stock, he would have won, no doubt, but with ignition, exhaust, intake mods, that daytona got surprised!

That`s a Quad 4 GTZ in the vid. They resonably fast, well the fastest Berettas made.

i have a beretta too but the truck you beat weighs 6000lbs/and the car 3000 with lead in the trunk..power to weight ratios make all the differance
