He needs to distance himself from her. She's extremely ignorant and simply repeats the same old lines about government destroying the economy and free markets without truly understanding the issue. Kind of like a Sean Hannity, no substance.
Unfortunately he is wrong about one thing - most neocons are already talking like Bush was a saint and forgot the last 8 years because they hate Obama so much. They will just vote in another puppet - this time the Republican puppet - and the sodomizing will continue. Bush and Obama=the same. Palin would just be another puppet.
That tells me that the Tea party movement is over if they pick another puppet like Palin over Ron Paul. I guarantee that if the nation goes even crazier and hell freezes over and she were to get elected that it would be business as usual - just like Bush and Clinton before that. Palin is no more for change than Obama is. Ever hear that song "won't get fooled again?" Ron Paul in 2012 if you aren't a poser.
when I watch and listen, I don't see or hear an old geezer - he ain't no Robert Byrd. It's pretty sad that you feel that way. Reagan was pretty old and HE was a putz, so I guess I understand what you are saying.
because Republicrats are a bunch of sheeple just like the Dempublicans and haven't a clue how to recognize intelligent policy. Mass media has turned half the country into morons and they believe the crap they see on TV.
you are right, todays Americans - when compared to the past Americans - know very little in respect to Liberty, Freedom and Life in general...dont get me wrong, we are by far an overall smarter group of people...not due to public education, due to innovation...but, media and public education has kept the main aspects of Life (Liberty, Freedom and Rights) out of the main stream while the government has crept in and taken ahold of them...
Paul might be a great person and right on 90% of the issues, but he lacks the charisma to connect with the masses. Schiff has that ability. When more people hear him, he will become more popular.
I disagree - Ron Paul, for me, ultimately has more charisma than any candidate I've seen since 1968 (voted first in 1970s) - I think he connects with the masses just fine when given airtime - which he gets plenty now. Why do you think he was clipped after the first primary debates in 2008? - because he was trashing every one of the other GOP candidates - he polled in the 40% winning the debates in audience polls.
the GOP deserved trashing - that whole lineup of corporate lapdogs from Romney to Guilliani are all stooges and the last 8 years of Bush sucked. They sucked as bad as the Clintons and the Liberal Obamatons that are finishing the job Bush started... (the Dems bash the GOP as spectacle - they both have one master.)
I suspected that we are not nearly so far apart in many areas. I just don't want any more handpicked and carefully groomed frontmen (or frontwomen) from the corporate elites. I'm sorry to say that Palin is a total opportunist and whatever charming qualities she may have, she would eagerly do the master's bidding. Right now many in the GOP are stealing parts of the Ron Paul message just to cash in on populist anger.
I also am waiting to see where Palin actually stands on economics. Too many of these so called conservatives say they're for limited government but they have no intention of dismantling the bloated government we have now, they only intend to keep it from growing larger. Which they always fail to do anyway.
Palin? Forget about it. She's better than most other Republicans, but how could he support her? Recall that Schiff was an adviser to Ron Paul during his 2008 run for President. Schiff has got to know that Palin differs from Ron Paul on major issues, not the least of which is her support for the Iraq war and occupation.
Schiff's accuracy, and ability to "get" what's going on, comes from his uncanny ability to be objective is the face of minute to minute distraction. He's talking about Palin exactly as one would expect him to. Of course, I would vote for a Schiff/mollusc ticket before I'd ever vote for a Schiff/Palin one.
Good luck on the senate race before even thinking about trying Obama's stunt.
Palin doesn't want to be President. She just wants to control the conservative hardcores so when any candidate wants strong supports from them, she can be the king maker and as a result she can charge hefty price for her work.
Palin is lazy as hell. But she wants lots of money.
Why on Earth does nobody in these vids mention the one guy that fits their description? It's RON PAUL dummies. Everything they are talking about in a desired candidate is fulfilled by Ron Paul. Schiff should know this since he used to work for him.
Holy cow!! Schiff for president!! yeah baby!

Schiff has the charisma and intelligence to be President, and I think he's the best possible candidate this country has to offer.
Every Presidential election that comes up, I find myself thinking "THESE are the people we can come up with from this great country???"
I don't have that thought with Schiff.

"because he was trashing every one of the other GOP candidates - he polled in the 40% winning the debates in audience polls"
It was in season to trash the GOP in 2008.
The Democrats did it too. LOL
Jimmy Carter would have polled great trashing the GOP, if he was in the hunt!

the tea party movement will cease to exist when Palin (or any other true Republicans) become leaders...
Libertarians, if anyone, should be "leaders" for these events...people like Peter Schiff, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Badnarik...etc.
I know, Ron Paul is listed as Republican...only to be allowed on ballots, too many States discriminate against lower populous parties.
