I am an installer of pool talbes and this is not how you do it. Heat the slate first for a couple min then torch the wax off the stick and let it drip onto the table and give it a quick scrape. However you really should only be filling screw holes with wax and not the seams. Leave it to a pro people unless you want to keep comming back to broken seams.
@MrTroygates i'm a bit confused since the end result of how i did my seams is perfect. i understand that your way is different and works for you, but isn't the end result all that matters? btw, when should i expect my seams to break? its been over 2 years and they are still perfect. and no, this vid was for the diy'er. its not enough to say "call a pro" as some people cant, dont, wont, etc. a pro will do it as fast as possible. that is not what i wanted.
I bought a playcraft black knight that included professional installation for $475, professional my ass, the guy even told me that he wasn't getting paid $475 so where the fuck is my money going?
The guy hired to install my pool table didn't know anything about this, I was freaking out. Thankfully he left with it half assembled because there was no instructions for attaching the ball return
